Friendship goals: Stacey Solomon did the kindest thing for new mum Mrs Hinch

Stacey Solomon is one of our favourite celebrity mums and her latest post has proved that she is one of the most genuine mamas out there.

Stacey revealed she has grown close to Sophie Hinchcliffe aka Mrs Hinch. Stacey and Sophie are both mums to baby boys which has helped strengthen their friendship over the past few weeks.

The new mum revealed her friendship with Stacey has helped her get through the dark times.

“One day I received a message from this amazing woman, simply asking me if I’m ok. It’s like she just knew I wasn’t. Even though I hadn’t made this apparent to anyone. I found myself pouring my heart out to her by message, asking how she handles the public eye with a newborn.”

Stacey knew Sophie needed a friend so she called around to her with baby Rex in tow, “She turned up at my house with her beautiful baby Rex in one arm and McDonald’s in the other for us both!

“I just felt myself wanting to cry. A mix of emotions I can’t even explain. We sat down, we ate junk food , fed our babies and talked for hours and I can honestly say I feel like a huge weight has been lifted and I’m ready to face this public eye! Trolls and all!” Sophie gushed.

Having a friend like Stacey is something everyone needs, especially new mums. You need a person who will be there for you when all you want to do is cry or vent. Stacey stressed just how important friendship is to new mums.

“No matter what they say, first time mum or tenth time mum we all need support and someone to talk to. I’m so glad I asked because realising that somebody else was going through, feeling, and experiencing the same things as me was like therapy. Support after having a baby is invaluable and makes a huge difference!

“We’ve only been friends a few months (a very intense few months) but it feels like a lifetime! You are a beautiful person and an incredible super mama! Never forget it,” Stacey gushed about her new friend.

“Here’s to raising our boys and having each others backs. P.S if anyone out there is struggling or thinks someone else may be struggling please reach out. If you feel you have no one to talk to there are amazing organisations and charities out there. Here are a couple @mindcharity @PANDAS,” the mum added.

We couldn’t agree with Sophie and Stacey more. Friendship is truly invaluable.
