Stitches by Aileen

I've always loved crafts and I crocheted blankets for my own children when I was pregnant and loved receiving knitted cardigans etc when they were born. As they got a little older I had more time to get back to crocheting and began making presents for friends and family, with such a positive response, I began to make and sell my products at markets and craft fairs. Orders began coming and and word of mouth  led to more orders, so I put stitches by Aileen up online and now I receive orders from all over the world. I get many lovely thank yous from people who have received the baby blankets as gifts from customers and they often go on to buy them for their own friends and family. It is great that they are loved, and I continue to make bright, cuddly baby friendly products, which are also practical for mammies as they are always machine washable!! I love my work and it enables me to work from home with my three children who also love helping me pick colours and wool for new projects.
