I received my pack on Monday thank you for the lovely cooler bag and wooden spoon. I have used several Glenilen products before so was really excited to try their new baby range. I must say i was not disappointed. Everything about this product is really nice. Firstly the package is very appealing, the colours used are very delicate and "natural" looking. The pots of fromage frais and youghurts are good sizes portion wise. The youghurts themselves were really nice tasting. As my baby is only 13 months he couldn't give me much verbal feedback however there were many mmmmm sounds!!! I also partook in the taste test with him so as to give more constructive feedback (well thats my story and I am stickig with it!!!!) The tatse was really nice, not overpowering not too tangy. I really must say in comparison to some other well known brands you can really taste the freshness nad naturalness of the Glenilen product. It is not overly sweet or fake! the consistency is good not too thick.
I must agress with the others with regards to the shape of the bottom of the pots, however it is only a small thing and it would not discourage me from buying the product in the future. As a mum who puts a lot of time and effort and consideration in cooking for my baby I must say this is a product I have been waiting for and I look forward to it being on the shelves of supermarkets. I am unsure of the pricing of the product however I can say it will be on my shopping list henceforth.
Thank you Glenilen for developed these products!

Well, the yoghurts & fromage frais went down a treat in our house!!

I really liked the packaging - not garish like some kids products, and really reflected the simple, natural product it contained.

My son (1) & daughter (4) absolutely loved the strawberry and banana pots! Lovely and creamy, and a lovely taste. They had them gone in no time and my son would have gladly eaten two in one sitting, so perhaps a "regular" size in this flavour could be produced??

The strawberry yoghurt was also loved by all of us! It had a lovely creamy consistency and taste - so delicate and not overly sweet like so many yoghurts that are on the market for kids. As for which was preferred by the kids, I'd say the strawberry & banana pots. As I said, it's a shame they weren't bigger!!

I wasn't aware of the brand before receiving these products but I would definitely be buying these in place of our usual yoghurts because the kids loved them so much. Also, the fact that there's no "badness" in there, in the way of colourings/flavourings would really sway me towards buying them. Although they were a very delicate colour, it was very appealing as you just know it's all good!

Thanks a million for the chance to taste these products (and for the wooden spoon!). We really enjoyed them and will be buying them from here on in!! Best of luck!!

All the yoghurts gone here:)
I knew that the yoghurts that glenilen made before were yummy:) i used to buy the raspberry and natural yoghurt while i was pregnant:) and i was aware that they were free of additives and preservative which is brilliant a very usp for a childrens youghurt brand:)
the packaging is very simple and not jump out in your face colours but the bottom corners of the pot is hard to get into because of the tapered end.

My 7 month old loved the strawberry and banana and her daddy really loved the vanilla:) they are so creamy and soft and the flavours dont taste artificial.

I will definatlybe purchasing these yoghurts in the future and i already recommended them to several new mums:)
thanks for letting us take part in the trial Glenilen:) xx

Thank you so much for our samples! My fussy little man wasn't too impressed when I first gave him a spoon but that had nothing to do with the yoghurt, it was the fact he wasn't doing it himself! After realising it was the independence that was the problem he devoured two in no time! They were all a big hit and were quickly I went from having 8 to 0 in 3 days!

Thanks again to all
:)

Hi received your pack and thank you for your spoon also. they went down a treat with my 9 month old and also the three boys i look after who are 11, 9& 6 they loved them. they were lovely and creamy but must admit they are a bit unstable for kids trying to use them. i had seen them in my supermarket but had not tried them and was very pleased with the flavor. the packaging it very attractive and i love that they only contain 2-3 ingredients and are not full of additives. Thank you! Kimberley

We all loved them. The portion size of the strawberry and banana was perfect for 12 month old. I loved the larger strawberry ones. It might be a bit bitter to some people but that's because it was all natural. The strawberry flavour could have been a little bit strange brut apart form that they where great. I liked the cooler bag and spoon that came with it too, that was a nice touch. The colour in part on the inside was genius too.

I loved the little cow on the front of the plastic too
I agree with the other comments the no artificial colouring etc should be a lot more prominent

Let me know I you want me to try out more

Received our samples and firstly was delighted with the wooden spoon but especially the reuseable freezer bag (will come in very handy over the summer).
We started first on thThen tried the vanilla flavour of yogurt pots - again lovely creamy texture but thought the vanilla flavour was a bit artifical/sweet, actually it tasted like ice cream. Neither myself or my toddler is a fan of vanilla anyway so would definitely try the strawberry flavour one to see if that would work for us and again hopefully there will be more flavours in the yogurt range.
Easily recognisable packaging too.
Happy to see a low sugar content - that is important to me in yogurts for my small one as some yogurts have very high sugar content.
Would be happy to buy them again in the future especially if there are offers on them as you often see on other kids yogurts

Hi

Myself and my son tested the Glenilen Farm Yogurt & Fromage Frais over the weekend. I must say we were pleasently surprised. I was already familiar with Glenilen products and had seen them in the shops but hadnt tried them before.

We tried the strawberry yoghurt first, it was the first time a yogurt really tasted like strawberry fruit! It was very creamy with a lovely thick texture - but not lumpy or too heavy... it was really nice - very natural and tasty. It felt like a healthy snack :)

Then I tried the strawberry & banana fromage frais... I was a bit apprehensive because im not a fan of banana flavoured products. When I tasted it - I was taken aback, again the taste was very natural - it was lovely, obviously made with real fruit and not "flavours". I felt like a great mum giving healthy treats to my son and not something filled with additives and colourings.

JJ loved both and wanted more each time! I would definately reccommend these products to my friends! I am diabetic myself so it is hard to find a snack or a treat low in sugar but full of taste :) I have bought more already! :)

firstly thank you so much for allowing me to take part in this trial. I was really impressed by the delivery and presentation of the trial pack. The wooden spoon and cooler bag were a great addition. My 16 month old son tried out the fromage frais first. he liked these and enjoyed it as a dessert after dinner. my husband and I also tried these and he thought they were a bit bitter tasting whereas I would have enjoyed something a bit stronger tasting. as for the vanilla yoghurt my son loved these ones by far. the texture and the taste was superior and he devoured 2 of them in minutes. I would definately look to buying these again. as for the packaging of the products it was very appealling and although a note accompanied the product saying the clear film lid wasnt the final draft, this was something I actually liked. overall these are worth a purchase in the future.....

My Glenilen Farm yogurts and fromage frais arrived in a lovely bag and free wooden spoon.
Both products are smooth and creamy, not only do they smell divine, but they sure taste wonderful! My 6 month old son is a very poor feeder so I was delighted to see him eat a whole pot at once! He really enjoyed both the yogurt and fromage frais.
I can't wait to try some new flavours and I would definitely buy these and recommend them to my friends.

Thanks a million for sending those yummy samples and the lovely gifts.

My samplers were 1 year and 3 years old. They really enjoyed both the vanilla yogurt and the fromage frais. Both were lovely and creamy and had a lovely mild taste. I have purchased other Glenilen products in the past and have enjoyed them.
I really like that there are no nasty preservatives in the products. The pots are a little flimsy but we managed.
I'd definitely buy these if I saw them in the shops.

thanks so much for the cooler bag and wooden spoon, Aimee was delighted with life!

she enjoyed the yogurts but would ask for her usual ones when offered the clear plastic pot her reply would be no the 1 with the strawberries and colours on it. ( she did notice and like the outer packaging) when told we had none left she would take the Glenilen pot and mill in! (i think I have created an additives monster)

Gave some to my 8 months old niece on a sleepover and she was only too happy to eat 2 of them for her, she really loved them!
I thought the yogurts were really creamy and delish and I would buy them again.

We never tried Glenilen products before but I think we will definitely be buying them in the future. We're all yogurt fans in this house and would have them a few times a week. I find they're great to send in to the creche as a snack for our 2 year old and she will often have one after her lunch or dinner at home.

The Vanilla Yummy Yogurts and Strawberry & Banana Fromage Frais didn't last the weekend. In fact my husband loved them so much he practically finished them all off himself! I think our daughter two and I was lucky enough to get one.

Both the yoghurt and the fromage frais had a lovely creamy taste and they weren't as sweet as other yogurts I've tried - which is a good thing as I have been recently wondering if other yogurts I've given my daughter are bad for her teeth! The fact that these yogurts have completely natural ingredients is a definite plus and I imagine I will certainly be getting them for my youngest when she turns 6 months.

The packaging is quite diffferent to other yogurts, so I think they would stand out on supermarket shelves. And on the inside of the sleeves kids are encouraged to send in their drawings which are then posted on Facebook, which I think is a lovely idea.

However, I think the fact that the low number of ingredients should be highlighted more so it stands out. I imagine it would be difficult to see this at a glance when standing in the yogurt section.
Also we found it quite difficult to separate the pots from each other.

Many thanks to Glenilen and Mummypages for the trial pack.
