Thank you so much for allowing me to trial the Goodall's Rubs!
I have now tried all 5, I hadn't used rubs before and am truly delighted with the results.
First we hadd the Moroccan Tagine, I sprinkled this on lamb and left in the fridge overnight before proceeding with my usual recipe, this went down a treat even the fussy kids loved it. Next we had the lemon pepper this i sprinkled on Salmon and pan fried, yum. Next up in our house was the Thai Red I put this on chicken breasts and then roasted, chopped up and put in some coconut milk to heat it up, with a good sprinkle of the rub into the coconut milk. Loved this too only thing is not quite hot enough for my taste. But easily rectified by adding more chilli powder. The thai green rub i put on tuna steaks and then stirfried absolutely loved it and the argentine i used on sirloin steak this gave superb flavour. These rubs will defintiely always be kept on our shelves, so handy for adding flavour quickly after a busy long busy day in work and kids starving, i don't have time for layering flavours these did the trick. Our favourites were the Moroccan & the Argentine.

A big thank you to mummypages and Goodalls for the opportunity to try these wonderful rubs.
I honestly have to say I enjoyed using all the rubs, unfortunately I have not tried the moroccan rub yet! They have made the most boring dinner times something new and delicious :)
I tried both Thai red and green as part of currys and cannot praise them highly enough. a big hit with the whole family, the aroma, depth of flavour the rub added to the dish was super. My sons absolutely loved it as I did myself. They are suitable for the whole family from toddler to pensioner :D
Lemon Pepper used with sole was just fantastic, my sons are not fish lovers but after marinading the fish with the lemon pepper for a short time the smell encouraged my 7 year old to ask to try it which in turn resulted in half my dinner being eaten on me..lol
The Argentine rub i decided to try with steak and must say that it was superb. It added colour, aroma and the most beautiful flavour to the steak. This was a big hit with my partner.

THe good thing about these is I feel they are very versatile and could be used in hundreds of different recipes. They really are lovely and you can be sure that they will be a permanent feature in my cupboard. I can't recommend these highly enough. Even the appearance of the container is very eye catching for everyone. They jump off the shelf and be sure they go straight into your trolley!!!
Thanks again for the opportunity. x

Goodall’s are a well known brand in our house. I’ve used herbs, spices, food colourings and flavourings in my cupboards over the years.
I received 5 rubs: Argentinean meat rub, Moroccan tagine, Lemon pepper fish rub, Thai green curry, and Thai red curry. I’m a avid label reader, and was delighted to see that there was no added salt or fillers in each mix. The fact that they’re gluten free made me decide to try a recipe out on my book club, as we have one celiac.

The first rub I used was the Argentinean meat rub. I applied it to a roast beef and just bunged it in the oven. I was concerned it might be to strong for the kids, but we all enjoyed it, and the best thing was it didn’t involve extra salt! I also used it on burgers, but that wasn’t as big a hit J.
I’m not a fan of Thai curry, but one of my book club loves them so I gave them to her to review. She mad a curry for herself and her girls, and they all loved it. She has told me that they’ll definitely make her shopping list! Again, the no salt and wheat aspect impressed her.
For book club, I decided to cook the Moroccan Tagine. I checked the Goodalls recipe but I felt that was a bit simplistic, so I used another one. I used stewing steak as that’s what I had in the freezer. I massaged the rub into the beef chunks and left it to marinate overnight in the fridge. Then I fried off the meat and some onions, threw in the othe ingredients, and banged it in the oven. It was delicious...definitely my favourite, and made a stew into something exotic without having to buy lots of herbs and spices. Two of the book club (including my celiac friend) plan to buy this for themselves.

My kids don’t eat fish, but I cooked fish for myself and my husband, mixed the Lemon Pepper with some oil, and slathered it on before grilling. My husband enjoyed this the most!

Thank you for the opportunity to try these rubs. I wouldn’t have bought them without trialling them beforehand, but now there’ll be at least 4 people buying various Goodalls rubs!

hi sorry for late reply,
i have to say i thoroughly enjoyed trying out these rubs. they are just amazing, i have used Goodalls products previously herbs and spices. i received 5 rubs to try.
firstly i tried the lemon pepper fish rub, i used this on salmon and it really created some amazing flavours. my kids couldnt believe i had made fish taste so good, so big thumbs up for this one. they look to have fish at least twice a week.
next i used the moroccan tagine rub in a lamb tagine. i sprinkled some over the lamb potatoes and veg. and let irt cook slowly all day in the tagine, my house smelled fantastic and the meal went down a treat, even my mother was impressed and her tagines are legandary. she actuallty took my supply home!!! deep rich flavours.
i added the thai green curry to thai green curry and it absolutely enhanced the flavours. it really made such a difference and the kids just loved it. i rubbed this on to chicken fillets as i made the paste and it added huge flavour.
the argentine meat rub i used on steak. normally i find steak boring but this rub jazzed it up big time. i rubbed it on to steak left it for 35 mins and then fried it, the smell had my mouth watering long before it was cooked and i was worried it might tasty salty but no, kids really enjoyed this esp my son who loves steak.
i sprinkled the thai red curry irub in to chicken stir fry and it really gave it a zing and the whole meal was so enjoyable and flavoursome.

thank you so much for selecting me to take part in this trial i loved experimenting with all the rubs and i plan to keep on trying them and adding them to lots different meals. Goodall's rubs are absolutely fantastic and the results are amazing. you have to try it to believe it. and they are gluten free and contain no salt which is a huge bonus. well done Goodalls

As an avid baker I had previously used Goodall's food colourings and also their herbs and spices. I always found them to be of very high quality and easy to work with. Once again I wasn't disappointed.
The rubs arrived in lovely neat containers and the rubs themselves were extremely tasty, had a natural flavour non-salty and were very easy and non time consuming to use. My husband loved the flavour and even my little eighteen month old was impressed!
I used the Thai green and red rubs as a base in a prawn and chicken curry respectively and they were delicious. They weren't too overpowering and were easy to combine with the coconut milk For an authentic oriental taste.
I combined the Lemon pepper rub with some olive oil and poured it over some salmon fillets which I then wrapped in tinfoil and cooked in the oven at 180 Celsius for 35mins. The resulting dish was so flavoursome and had an extremely natural taste to it. I served it with some baby potatoes which I had cooked in the oven drizzled with olive oil and Goodalls dried thyme. Both flavours complemented each other perfectly.
The Argentine meat rub I simply used to marinade Sirloin steak which I then grilled. My husband who is very fussy about his steak was well impressed.
I used the Moroccan Tagine to add an exotic twist to a beef casserole and I will never make a casserole without it again. I had guests for dinner that evening and they loved it, one even taking a picture of the rub with her phone so she could purchase it the next day!
Being free from salt and gluten is a huge added bonus as I love tasty food that I can enjoy guilt free. The fact that they are not calorie laden is also a big plus for me.
Goodalls rubs will be a food cupboard staple for me from now on.

Thanks so much for including me on this trial, I really enjoyed it. I struggle to make home made healthy food, that actually tastes good - so these were really handy to get, coupled with using the recipes from Goodall's website - I'm like a new woman.
So far I have cooked Cauliflower cheese with the lemon pepper, Easy Moroccan Lamb with the Moroccan Tagine rub and steak with the Argetine meat rub. I have to say, each dish has been simple and very very tasty. The rubs really make a difference with taste, and yet they're not just over-powering salty flavour.
Will definitely continue testing and enjoying them, have already recommended them to friends and will buy again.

Thanks for letting us take part in this trial - really enjoyed creating some new flavours. I know the Goodall's brands, but haven't used these rubs before. I found them incredibly handy to have in the press and there is a flavour and recipe for literally everything - whether it's an over indulging chicken dish or a lean and tasty fish creation - these rubs do the trick.
Super handy to have in the press.
Thanks a lot for taking party. Will definitely be buying again and will recommend to friends.

I just love these rubs - they are now my go to things to brighten up dinner in our house - needless to ssay the family are chuffed - at last some cooking they can enjoy. Ha ha.
I've used the Lemon Pepper rub in the Goodall's recipe for Cauliflower cheese - which is gorgeous. I've also made the Easy Moroccan Lamb - this dish is just divine, I'm on the look out for more recipes to use this Moroccan Tagine rub - its' amazing.
Thanks so much for letting me take part. It was a lot of fun and made me branch out into new recipes and flavours. Will be buying these again and would recommend without hesitation to other mums.

We haven't yet tried out all the rubs - I'm afraid I'm a bit lacking with recipes. But one I did try and really enjoy was the Grilled Lemon Pepper fish recipe. I really want to include more fish in my diet so this was the perfect way to start. I used haddock and for once, the whole family ate it. The lemon pepper fish rub really made it. So gorgeous.
I've seen other posters mention the Moroccan Lamb Tagine which sounds amazing, will definitely be trying that next.
Thanks so much for letting me take part.

Thank you soooo much for letting me take part (my hubby says an even bigger thank you lol).
I don't do a lot of cooking, and the stuff I do cook is my tried and tested old reliables, so it was great to be pushed into creating new and more interesting recipes. The first one I tried was Monkfish - I've never tasted monkfish let alone cooked with it. I was really pleasantly surprised, it's super tasty and a great way to bring fish (especially the ones I don't normally eat) into my diet. I used the Goodall's Thai Green rub for this dish. It really was yummy. I've also made it for friends, and they all agreed it was fab.
I also tried the Goodall's Red Thai curry rub with Beef. It was so tasty. I have made beef stirfy before, but I normally just add a jar, with this recipe however, it allowed me to create it from scratch. So healthy and tasty - this was hubby's favourite. I normally serve this dish with rice or chips - but I've actually started to move more healthy options, so I made butternut squash chips and with this dish, they were totally divine.
I really appreciated the opportunity to try the Goodall's Rubs out and to be introduced to the Goodall's recipes. Really enjoyable.

Thanks very much for choosing me to take part. The Goodall's Rubs are a gorgeous ingredient to use in so many dishes for the while family.
I have tried three dishes from the Goodalls rubs recipes -
Thai Beef Salad Recipe - I used the Thai Red Curry rub with this one and we had rice with it. Just gorgeous and everyone in the family ate it.
Gaucho Steak with Chimichurri Sauce Recipe - steak is a real favourite in our family but I never made it interesting, it's normally just steak and chips. This recipe used the Argentine meat rub. And it was a really different tasting steak dish which I coupled with boiled potatoes and vegetables. Really nice. And as we had some left over, we had gorgeous crusty bread steak sandwiches the next day.

South American Vinaigrette Recipe - I used the Argentine Meat Rub with this, and had it with a simple green salad and grilled chicken. Really simple and healthy.I haven't had time to test the other rubs yet, but I will, have really enjoyed the ones I did. Thanks again for including me in this trial. Would recommend to everyone.

Had a great time trying the Goodall's Rubs. I'm familiar with Goodall's but haven't used the rubs before. I quite enjoy cooking but I'm not very adventurous. With the new rubs to hand, I updated my boring chicken dinner by including the Argentine meat rub - it was really nice and totally transformed my boring dish.
We eat fish fairy regularly, but very seldom have shellfish. We tried the Goodall's recipe for Red Thai Prawns (using the Red Thai Curry rub) which were gorgeous.
Thanks so much for letting me take part, thoroughly enjoyed it.

I can't believe I haven't tried these before. I'm a reasonably good cook (even if I do say so myself) but there's always room for improvement and new ideas. I've used the Thai Red & Thai Green rubs in curries and to flavour chicken and beef - the rubs add a whole new level of flavour, which I really love. I'm coeliac so am particuarly happy that these are gluten free. I've also used them on fish, and made a fantastic thai red fish curry which is to die for - actually made it for a dinner party with friends, and it was a huge success.
Thanks so much for including me in the trial, these rubs will appear in my trolley again, and have already recommended them to everyone I know.

Had a great time trying out these rubs. I had actually bought the Thai Red Curry rub before, and always found it very good, but hadn't tried the others. They are fantastic to have in the cupboard and encourage you to cook from scratch which is so much more healthy.
Thanks for allowing me to take part, great product, would recommend to other mums.

I hadn't heard about these rubs at all, so it was a real treat to get selected to try them out. They're fab. they really are what the tin says - they're not filled with salt, just great spicey flavour. And coeliac freindly too. It's so easy to just grab them from the cupboard and update a boring meat / vegetarian dish. I've tried the rubs with meat and fish, and also for salad dressings - they're a real hit with all the family. I've also jazzed up chicken stew and beef casserole too - something the family are very grateful for :)
Thanks so much for letting me take part. Really enjoyed it and have already told my other mummy friends all about Goodall's Rubs.
