They recently spoke excitedly about the impending arrival of their little one, and now the big moment has finally arrived for these TV stars!
Congratulations are in order for Gotham co-stars Morena Baccarin and Ben McKenzie – also of The O.C. fame – who have welcomed their first child together.
Representatives for both actors confirmed the news to USA Today this morning, revealing that the couple are now parents to a daughter named Frances Laiz Setta Schenkkan.
Morena reportedly gave birth to baby Frances on Wednesday, March 2, and further details are yet to be released.
While this is the first child for popular actor Ben, Morena is also mother to two-year-old Julius; her son with estranged husband Austin Chick.
The couple’s off-screen romance was revealed last September, and they went on to confirm their pregnancy news two months later.
Just last month, Morena revealed that she was more than ready to meet her baby: “I feel huge. I’m ready to pop. I’m definitely less nervous [than her first pregnancy], but it goes by a lot quicker because you’re chasing after a toddler.”
