It's a sad day in the Judd household.
Izzy Judd has taken to Instagram to announce that her beloved cat Murphy has passed away.
The 35-year-old penned an emotional post to her feline friend, who she revealed had to be put down due to illness.
Her husband, McFly drummer Harry, also uploaded a snap of the gorgeous cat.
Izzy wrote, ''Goodbye my beautiful Murphy, I’m heartbroken. One more cuddle, one more kiss, one more night with you curled up by my side, one more time to listen to your purr, one more moments peace together during Lola & kit’s nap time, then you realise that one more will never be enough.''
She continued, ''Thank you for being there when I was anxious and struggling. Thank you for not leaving my side when I was miscarrying. Thank you for curling up to my tummy helping me to stay calm in my pregnancies. Thank you for sleeping outside Lola & Kit’s bedrooms when they were poorly.''
She added, ''You came along for a reason and now I must carry your kind soul along with me. I will miss you terribly and be forever grateful for your loyalty, I will love you forever...Sending love to all those who have loved and lost, it is devastating.''
Izzy suffered a miscarriage with her first baby and went on to have three-year-old Lola through IVF and two-year-old Kit naturally.
Her followers were touched by her tribute to Murphy, who was always be her side.
One said, ''Sending love Izzy, a bond with an animal is such a special thing to have experienced.''
While another wrote, ''Sending so much love. No one can understand the bond we have with our own animals. It’s a bond that just can’t be broken. I hope in time your pain eases.''
Izzy has previously spoken about the tough time after she miscarried her first child - a time in which Murphy was by her side.
She said, ''I really didn't want to go out, Harry would go to events on his own, when we were trying for a baby I felt very uncomfortable in my skin, it was all I wanted ever since I was a little girl.''
She continued, ''I think that was the thing when suffering a miscarriage, had I tempted in fate in some way? Had I missed with something I shouldn't be?''
Losing a pet is devastating and our thoughts go to Izzy, Harry and their kids.
