Katie Holmes has a very special bond with her only child, daughter Suri.
The pair have been inseparable since Katie divorced Suri's dad, Tom Cruise, when Suri was six-years-old.
Katie doesn't post about her daughter on social media however she broke that rule when she uploaded a black-and-white snap of Suri and a friend.
The 40-year-old posted the snap, captioning it, ''No need to hurry. No need to sparkle. No need to be anybody but oneself.” -#virginiawoolf.''
It's clear that Katie is a proud mum to her 12-year-old.
Her fans picked up on this and expressed their delight at getting a glimpse of Suri.
One said, ''Suri is growing so much much into a lovely young woman.''
While another wrote, ''You seem like such a good Mama!''
