The Beckhams celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary yesterday, and eldest son Brooklyn was the first to offer his congratulations.

Brooklyn, who was just a baby when his parents’ lavish wedding took place in 1999, posted a black and white snap of his parents to Instagram alongside a gushing tribute: “Happy anniversary to two of the most amazing people in my life x Love you, Mum and Dad.”

His younger brothers were quick to follow suit, with Cruz and Romeo both choosing an intimate snap of David placing a wedding ring on Victoria’s finger during the ceremony.

Cruz, 12, wrote a sweet message saying: "Dream Mum and Dad, I can't believe it has been 18 years. Happy Anniversary @davidbeckham and @victoriabeckham, I love you so much and I want you to know that you are the best parents in the whole wide world. I love you."

While Romeo, 14, wrote: "Happy anniversary to the best parents in the world!!! Love you so much️.”

Little Harper is a bit too young for Instagram, but we bet she made one of her adorable handmade cards for her parents.

David celebrated the couple’s wedded bliss by posting one of their most iconic throwback snaps, of them wearing matching leather outfits to Instagram.

"Wow, we really did this," he wrote, with a smiley face emoji. ️"Happy Anniversary to an amazing wife, mummy and strong business woman. Love you."

Victoria, meanwhile, chose to forget their sartorial mistakes and instead opted for a more romantic photo from their wedding, which shows the couple lovingly gazing at each other while David cradles baby Brooklyn in the crook of his arm.

“I love you. Kisses,” her simple message read.

While they’ve had some tough times in the past, the couple have one of the strongest and long-lasting relationships in the celebrity world.

David credits their relationship success to talking about their problems and their own family backgrounds, according to People magazine.

“We’re a strong family unit. We’ve got strong parents. We were brought up with the right values,” he said. “Of course, you make mistakes over the years, and we all know marriage is difficult at times. It’s about working through it.”

Happy anniversary to the Beckhams!
