Harry and Meghan join Instagram and break world records with their followers

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have joined the world of Instagram with their own page.

And unsurprisingly, the couple broke a world record while they were at it.

According to the Guinness World Records, the royal couple earned the record for "the fastest time to gain 1 million followers" after they racked up 1 million followers within five hours and 45 minutes.

The couple has only posted two pictures so far which include sideshows of their philanthropic work and royal duties.

The first post was captioned, ''Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues. We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal.”- Harry & Meghan.''

They were flooded with comments from celebrities and fans.

While another wrote, ''So pleased you've taken this step to keep us up with your worthy endeavours. The best of British!''

The page now has 3.3 million followers and will surely gain many more.

We can't wait to see what they post for us and are delighted that we can now follow their amazing journey.
