The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have enjoyed their first holiday as a family. Harry and Meghan decided to spend the former Suits star’s birthday in the sunshine and jetted off to Ibiza.
The parents and their son Archie travelled to Ibiza on August 6, according to Hello!
The family enjoyed six days in the sunshine before returning home to England on August 12.
Harry and Meghan spared no expense for Archie’s first trip abroad. It is believed the parents stayed in an excluded villa and travelled in a private jet.
They were joined by their personal security team as well as five locals who are familiar with the area.
Meghan turned 38-years-old on August 4.
To mark his wife’s special day, Harry penned a sweet note on their joint Instagram account.
Alongside a stunning photo of Meghan, the dad gushed, “Happy Birthday to my amazing wife. Thank you for joining me on this adventure!’ - Love, H.”
The Duchess stepped back from her royal duties following the birth of her first child. Meghan has been on maternity leave for the past three months and is expected to return to work in September.
Despite being on maternity leave, she has made numerous public appearances since Archie was born. She attended Wimbledon with the Duchess of Cambridge and was a guest of honour at the premiere of The Lion King remake.
Meghan also revealed she was the guest editor of the September issue of British Vogue.
The Duchess spent the past few months working tirelessly on putting together an empowering issue whilst adjusting to life as a mum.
