While the majority of us are still googly-eyed over Cruz Beckham’s adorable Christmas single and video, one person is totally unimpressed: Piers Morgan.
The journalist has reacted furiously to the release of If Every Day Was Christmas, accusing parents David and Victoria of ‘pimping out’ their youngest son.
Despite the fact that the proceeds from Cruz’s first single are going to charity, Piers couldn’t help but vent his frustration to Good Morning Britain viewers.
“I don’t know how he managed to release that, but then again, his parents are Victoria and David Beckham. You know what? It’s sickening,” he said.
He added: “He should be in school, the poor kid.”
Piers didn’t stop there, however; he took his criticism to Twitter, and took particular aim at David and Victoria.
“They deliberately exploit their family for commercial gain…Has Harper Beckham released details of her perfume range yet?” he wrote.
While some agree with Piers, many others feel he is being unnecessarily harsh on Cruz and his family.
“I imagine if your parents are that famous, it’s hard to find ‘a level playing field’. Why not use that fame to raise money for charity?” asked one Twitter follower.
They deliberately exploit their family for commercial gain. We are thus all entitled to comment. https://t.co/dW63Gr4Nuw

Why not let the parents use their own earned fame to do it? https://t.co/VLHGS9k0tp

No, it's dreadful - which makes what his parents have done even worse. https://t.co/MzbiwRksSC

Another chimed in: “What the hell has it got to do with you what the Beckham family get up to?”
What are your thoughts?
