Just weeks after daughter Bobbi Kristina was hospitalised after being found unconscious in a bathtub, Bobby revealed that his wife, Alicia Etheredge, was expecting their second child.
The couple, who are already parents to five-year-old son Cassius, posed for family photos this week ahead of the birth of their little one.
In pictures posted to Bobby’s Instagram account, he is seen with his arm around little Cassius and Alicia, who is showing off her blossoming baby bump.
The 46-year-old simply captioned the image ‘love’, going on to share another snap of Alicia appearing to wear a crown.
This will be the sixth child for Bobby, who is also dad to 26-year-old son Landon, 25-year-old daughter LaPrincia, 21-year-old son Bobby Junior, and 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina. Alicia is due to give birth in the summer.
The news of Alicia’s pregnancy was accompanied by claims that Bobby was in “emotional turmoil”, torn between his delight at welcoming another little one, and his heartbreak over Bobbi Kristina’s situation.
Bobbi Kristina's grandmother, Cissy Houston, recently told the media that the young singer had “global and irreversible brain damage”, revealing that she had been transferred to a rehabilitation clinic for further treatment.
We can’t imagine how difficult this ordeal must be for Bobby and the family.
