While all bets are still on concerning Meghan Markle's much-discussed wedding gown dress designer, we know almost nothing amongst all the whispers and speculation - save for the fact that Victoria Beckham won't be designing it.

Will she go for a British or American? Will she take style tips from Kate Middleton? And, as she's been rather partial to of late, will she find some way to slightly bend the rules of royal protocol?

We'll have to wait until May before all is revealed, but in the meantime fans of Markle in Suits get to see her in at least one wedding dress before she wears one IRL.

Her time in the popular series has come to an end and as her character gets set to walk down the aisle, new photos of the star's onscreen nuptials were just released by Entertainment Weekly.

The beautiful v-neck A-line gown is by Anne Barge, a US-based bridal designer.

It is by all accounts a re-worked dress; Suits fans may recall the dress from Season 5, when Markle's Rachel wore the look for her then-cancelled wedding to Mike Ross.

The couple are finally saying "I do" two seasons later, so the gown comes with a few updates in the design. But it's still the same dress, and looks beautiful on Markle.

And of course, it naturally means that Markle's actual wedding dress will be nothing like what we see on screen, after reportedly saying she wants her gown to be "classic and fairytale."

"I'm told that she wants something with lace, that she wants something with sleeves," royal expert Katie Nicholl revealed (something that would be quite similar to Middleton's choice in that sense).

The Suits wedding is due to be broadcast at the end of April.
