Most of us are a little strapped for cash after the Christmas holidays and while the end of January may be a long way off, that doesn't mean we have to suffer through endless bad hair days until pay day.
There are a number of styles you can do to help you out between cuts, so you can still be stylish even if you can't remember the last time you went to the hairdressers.
Top knot
The top knot is a great way to hide a multitude of sins and it is so easy to do - the messier the better. Lightly brush your hair with your fingers, gather all of it together as if you are putting it into a high pony, twist it around itself and secure with a bobbin. Light wisps of loose hair will add to the effect.
Californian waves
Another style for mid to long hair, you can o most of the work for this the night before. After your shower only dry excess water with the hair dryer leaving it slightly damp. Pull it into a plait starting as high up the hair as you can and leave it in over night. In the morning, remove the bobbin and run your fingers through it to give it texture and movement.
Side swept fringe
If it's your fringe that's the problem and you really don't want to cut it yourself, simply brush it to one side, slightly over your eye, and secure with a bobby pin and hairspray. This is also really useful if you are trying to grow out you fringe.
