Spending time in hospital is tough on anyone, but particularly children.

The endless tests and medical talk can be difficult for kids to deal with, so we’re sure patients at Seattle Children’s Hospital were only delighted when Chris Evans walked in dressed as Captain America.

A Super Bowl bet between Chris Evans and Chris Pratt was the reason for the visit after the actors decided whoever backed the losing team would have to visit a hospital of the winner’s choice dressed as a superhero.

Chris Pratt actually lost the bet and the Guardians of The Galaxy star visited a children’s hospital in Boston dressed as Star-Lord. However, Chris Evans who stars in Captain America: Civil War decided to get dressed up for the kids anyway.

Evans, along with an underdressed Pratt, went along to the Seattle hospital and spent some time with the kids.

Evans tweeted: "AMAZING day at @seattlechildren w @prattprattpratt. Met some TRUE super heroes! Feeling inspired, blessed, touched. Thank you w all my heart"

The hospital took to Twitter to say a big thank you to the stars for making the kids' day:
