Congratulations are in order for this Hollywood star this morning, as it has been revealed he is to become a dad for the ninth time.
Oscar-nominated actor Eddie Murphy's girlfriend, Paige Butcher, is reportedly expecting the couple's child in May 2016. While this will be Paige’s first baby, we’re sure being a father to eight other kids has given Eddie plenty of experience.
A source told the Daily Mail that the 54-year-old is really excited about adding to his brood, explaining that he “is a family man and loves all of his children”.
Murphy and the 26-year-old Australian have been together since 2012, after he broke up with HLN anchor Rocsi Diaz, and she is credited for helping him become more outgoing, and for his desire to return to stand-up comedy.
Eddie is father to Bria, Myles, Shyne, Zola and Bella from his 22 year marriage to Nicole Murphy. He also has a 26-year-old son, Eric, with Paulette NcNeely, a 25-year-old son, Christian, with Tamara Hood and eight-year-old Angel with singer Mel B.
“It's no secret that Eddie has a way with the ladies and dated around. From the early days of being with Whitney Houston, he's always loved beautiful high-profile women who had their own thing going on,” an insider said.
