If you’re as big a Netflix buff as we are, then chances are you have been counting down the days until the release of the new season of House of Cards.

Well, with the new 13-episode series hitting our screens on Friday (March 4), Netflix has gifted us with a few little treats – namely who and what we can expect to see from the new season!

While the focus of the season will be the upcoming presidential race, and Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood desperately trying to put the pieces of his campaign back together, it looks as though we’re going to learn a lot more about one of the more intriguing characters of the show: Claire Underwood.

Indeed, Netflix has revealed that none other than Claire’s mother, played by the great Ellen Burstyn, is going to be introduced to the audience – and, apparently, she’s a key figure to unlocking the story behind Claire’s icy persona.

Family secrets aside, there is one other detail that has us majorly excited for the new season – Neve Campbell is set to star!

Yes, the Scream actress is poised to make a triumphant return to the small screen, playing a ‘confident and driven’ political strategist named Leanne Harvey. We can’t wait to meet her character!

As if you needed any more teasing, check out the trailer for Season 4 below.
