The One Show presenter Alex Jones has bravely spoken out about her post-baby body. The mum shared her words of wisdom with OK Magazine. We adore how body-positive she is.

Your body changes dramatically when you’re pregnant, from bumps to bigger boobs, your body doesn’t look the way it used to.

Alex admitted that it can be a very intense experience. The presenter said she was overwhelmed by the drastic change.

She revealed that when she returned to work none of her clothes fit her, “It was really hard trying on one thing after the other and nothing looking quite the same.”

Alex came to terms with the fact that her body will never return to the way it used to be, but that’s okay. “Your bone structure and shape changes too and no amount of dieting will fix that.”

Despite her insecurities, she has accepted her new body. The mum revealed some truths about glamorous photos of celebrity mums, “In a lot of those celebrity mum photos, there’s a lot of Spanx and dark colours. Underneath we’re all looking a bit like a melted ice cream!”

We love how honest Alex is. Her views on body image are a breath of fresh air.

Rather than worrying about her body image, Alex is focusing on her family. The doting mum recently shared some photos from a thrilling family Halloween party.

The presenter rocked a ghoulish vampire look, complete with white face paint. She also had a very spooky sidekick.

Her son Ted looked adorable as a mini vampire. The tiny tot wore the sweetest vampire costume complete with a red waistcoat and a cape.

Alex wrote, “Happy Halloween from the Jones/Thomson's. Ted loved his first Halloween party with his cousins.”

She recently shared that becoming a mum has changed her views dramatically. She doesn’t waste her time fretting about little problems like stretch marks or spots, “I don’t look the same as I did but I’m all right about that – life isn’t just about me anymore.”

She said she is proud of her flaws, they’re her badge of honour, “I don’t care if I’m a bit wobbly or look more tired because it’s all part of the fun of being a parent.”

Alex has embraced motherhood with an upbeat and hopeful attitude. “Life isn’t just about me anymore,” she admitted.

Alex has taken to motherhood like a duck to water.
