Remember when you were younger, and you’d make your parents cross or stressed? Remember how gutted and guilty you would feel? Buddy Oliver has been there!
Jools Oliver took to Instagram this morning to share a screenshot of the adorable letter of apology she received from her six-year-old son, and it will absolutely break your heart.
While there’s no mention of what the little fella did, it’s clear that he’s feeling really guilty right now!
Written in blue ink, in shaky handwriting, the letter (roughly translated!) reads:
“Dear Mum,
Sorry for making you stressed.
I hope you will forgive me.
I can think of something repay you.
Love, Buddy”
While she may have been upset at the time, Buddy’s offence may not have been so serious – because Jools doesn’t have a clue of what it was!
“Jamie and I get a few of these notes on our pillow every so often,” wrote the mum-of-five, adding in a crying-laughing emoji.
“Although this one, we struggled to remember what he had done!”
Celebrity chef Jamie recently opened up about the ‘chaos’ of life with five children, a year after welcoming baby River Rocket.
On the subject of mealtimes, in particular, the 42-year-old said in an interview: “I’d say about three times out of 10 it’s really pleasant. But seven times out of 10, someone’s kicking off. It’s carnage.
“Look, cooking for kids is utter psychological warfare, and this thing called ‘perfection’ doesn’t really exist!”
Well, thank heavens for that! Although Jools’ heart-warming Instagram feed is still right up there on our list of ‘happy places’!
