She is one of the most celebrated fashion designers of the past few years, but even style-savvy Victoria Beckham can admit that she doesn’t always get it right.
The 42-year-old was being interview by Net-A-Porter recently when the subject of fashion fails arose – and she had no problem holding her hands up and listing off some of her more ill-advised style choices.
“I have made so many fashion mistakes, but I actually don’t look at them as ‘mistakes’. I celebrate those things and laugh occasionally. I’m not ashamed of any of that,” she admitted.
Recalling some of the outfits she would rather had never seen the light of day, Victoria added: “I mean, at some point I thought it was OK to wear a PVC catsuit.”
“And when I was pregnant with Romeo, I walked around Disneyland in Christian Louboutin heels – literally about nine months pregnant,” she added.
Like a fine wine, however, Victoria’s taste has improved immensely with age, and she is now more commonly associated with crisp white shirts and sophisticated tailoring.
While fashion is the mum-of-four’s first love, she recently delved into the world of beauty, with her collaborative range for Estée Lauder.
Naturally, then, the subject of her signature beauty look came up – and what do you think she went for? The smoky eye and nude lip, of course.
