You’ve got Blake and Ryan, you’ve got Channing and Jenna – but when it comes to the cutest couples in Hollywood, the gushiest pairing has to be Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed.
Whether they’re striking a pose on the red carpet or writing beautiful dedications to each other on social media, we’re all ‘heart eyes’ at the mere mention of their names!
This has been proven yet again, in the best way ever, in Ian’s latest romantic tribute to his wife of two years.
Just weeks after the couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Bodhi Soleil, 38-year-old Ian wrote an incredible love letter about his wife’s pregnancy.
“Just a quick note to you, my beautiful wife. You are briefly napping on the other side of the room after being an amazing mum all night, so you’ll read this when you wake," he began.
He went on to share a series of beautiful images of Twilight star Nikki during her pregnancy, glowing in each one. Clearly, Ian is the actress’ biggest fan!
“Seeing these images reminds me of those amazing nine months that you sacrificed your whole being to grow our little one. The kindness, the beauty and organic nature of these photos makes me so very proud,” he wrote.
“You brought such fun and such power into our lives being pregnant, but you literally brought the word sexy into pregnancy – we all see it.
“Thank you for being my partner in this life, and thank you for inspiring not just me but all others who read, hear or see what your soul gives us.”
Phew! We need to sit down after that one!
Ian and Nikki started dating in 2014, just months after she filed for divorce from ex-husband Paul McDonald. They tied the knot in the following April, and announced their wonderful pregnancy news in May of this year.
The couple’s daughter, Bodhi Soleil, was born on July 25. The couple had previously said that they would be taking ‘one month of silence’, with no visitors or phones, so they could bond as a family.
We reckon it won’t be too long before we get our first little look at baby Bodhi – we can only imagine how heart-melting the first social post will be!
