Today is World Autism Awareness Day and to raise awareness, and more so understanding, The National Autistic Society have released this video to show what autism is actually like for a child.
The video shows a young boy with his mother, shopping. It shows how he experiences a sensory overload and the effect it has on him.
He focuses on things that we would normally overlook or not even notice.
And the most upsetting part? Onlookers just give him dirty looks and walk away.
"I’m not naughty, I’m autistic. And I just get too much information."
