She has often brought him along to red carpet events as her plus-one, so we’ve always known that Victoria Beckham has a close relationship with her eldest son, Brooklyn.

We can totally understand, then, why she is so devastated over his recent move stateside.

Brooklyn, who released his first photography book earlier this year, is attending the acclaimed Parsons School of Design in New York. After achieving ‘amazing’ A level results, the 18-year-old is now pursuing his love of the creative.

While she supports the move one hundred percent, mum-of-four Victoria was understandably upset to have to wave goodbye to Brooklyn as he takes the next big step.

Opening up in an interview with makeup channel Pixiwoo, the 43-year-old admitted: “I’m still crying. Brooklyn’s moved to New York. He’s 18, and I haven’t stopped crying. I miss him so much – so much.”

Back in August, Victoria took to Instagram to share a public farewell message with the teen, who was the star of the show at her 1999 nuptials to husband David.

Beside a photo of herself hugging Brooklyn, she wrote: “We are all so proud of you, Brooklyn. Amazing A level results, and off to college. We love you so much and will miss you. #YesIAmCrying #Emotional.”

Victoria’s emotional admission comes just days after it emerged that Brooklyn is back together with his former girlfriend, actress Chloe Grace Moretz.

The budding photographer all but confirmed the speculation yesterday, posting a photo of the back of what appears to be Chloe’s head, the caption simply reading: “Thinking of this one xx.”

It sounds like there are a lot of exciting things happening for Brooklyn right now – while poor Victoria, like so many of us, has to adjust to life after her not-so-little one has flown the nest!
