Thanks to Innocent & Mummypages for the opportunity to review the new juice drinks.

I have bought the smoothies in the past for both my kids (5yrs 10mths & 3yrs) and they always go down a treat, in fact I have to hide them in the fridge. I have always watered down the kids juice so not having to do this is great.

On the juices both were drank happily with the older child preferring the orange & the younger the apple juice. However they both had both drinks & drained the cartons. Personally I dislike apple juice because I find it very sickly sweet but was very impressed with this one, while still sweet it seemed a lot less sugary.

The smoothies were both drank happily however both children prefered the strawberry, rasberry & blackberry. Both children struggled to get the straw into the smoothies & even when they managed it they tended to spill some. They both loved the graphics on the packaging.

I love the fact that there are no nasties in either the juices or smoothies & I can give the kids a treat that they love while also being good for them too. The school has a healthy eating & recycling / green policy so they actively discourage any form of cartons etc being brought in lunch boxes, it would be great to be able to buy the juices in a large bottle so they could be transfered to cups for school.

Overall I think the smoothies just stole the show but it was a very close finish.

Thanks a mil to MummyPages and innocent for sending out the juice. Although I had heard of innocent, I had actually never tried it so I was curious to see if the kids would like it.

Well the kids loooooooooooooved the juice - which actually surprised me because they are very fussy.

I often water down juice I give the kids as the dentist recommended it (altho they often protested because "mummy and daddy drink juice without water") so I really liked the idea of having a juice that I wouldn't have to water down. My girls drank every last drop of their juice. They said they prefered the apple one, however they also drank all of the orange. I was really happy with the fact that there are no additives or any other nasty stuff. I used to feel a little guilty giving the kids juice because i knew it wasnt good for their teeth. I feel a lot better about giving them innocent as it is a much healthier option than the other juices I would give them.

The kids were back to school yesterday and I put innocent cartons into their lunchbox - the cartons came back empty so i'll definately keep buying them. I often put a piece of fruit into their lunchbox and it almost ALWAYS comes back untouched so i'm glad now that i can ensure they get one of their five-a-day at lunch time.

It was a tie between the smoothies and the juicy drinks - i think i'll continue to give them both as it's nice to have a little bit of variety.

Thanks innocent and MummyPages! Myself and the kids loved being a product tester! xx

Thank you for including us in your smoothie trial. My 3.5 year old son loves smoothies but I am always concerned about how much fruit are in them and the juices.

These were brilliant, you can taste the fruit and its nice that the juices are not concentrated.

I have never watered down his juices

I had heard of the innocence brand and had bought it an odd time

my son loved both the juices and the smoothies

He drained the cartons

He preferred the apple flavour in the juice but loved the mango and orange in the smoothie

I love the idea that they are pure fruit with nothing added and its a great way for kids to get fruit into them

yes I love that there are no addictives etc added

He seemed to love these ones because there was more flavour in them

yes this is a great way of getting fruit into him

yes I would buy these again simply because of the goodness in them

My son would love the blackcurrant, melon and blueberry

He loved them both

We had five testers here, with a few sips from me. 2 x 10yrs, 7yrs, 4 & 2. The boys were thrilled to take part. They are familiar with the smoothie already, loving them. A big bonus are the little experiment or activity ideas on the back. They hang on to there cartons regularly to try out whats on them. Overall the general concensus was that they enjoed the juiceys but they weren't as nice as the smoothie variety. HAving said that, the juice cartons were almost sucked inside out.
1. I regularly water down juice, sometimes to lessen dental damage but also to spread the juice a little further anmong the five and any pals.
2. I am very aware of the innocent brand. I love the packaging and as I mention above love the kids interest in reading the cartons.
3. Yes we've tried the smoothies.
4. They all enjoyed the juicy drink.
5. All drank maybe 2yr left a bit.
6. Orange seemed to be overall favourite.
7. Definately thought it was healthier.
8. Yes
9. I would certainly love to send it to school but our school has banned cartons because of the ongoing Green Flag rules for recycling. They only want reusable bottles or beakers.
10. Much fresher tasting and kids love activity on packet.
11. Absolutely
12. c & d
13. Our suggestions were Mango & Pineapple, Elderflower and raspberry and Blackcurrant.
14. They prefered Smoothie because it was' fruitier like a shake or mushy fruit'.
Sin é.
Thanks for letting us take part we really enjoyed it.

I had three little testers in my house. All boys, ages 8,6,3. They were so excited to get the Innocent package and were only too happy to test everything. I have bought the smoothies before, which they love and immediately demolished! My boys definitely preferred the orange flavour but I genuinely believe that has more to do with a general boy aversion to anything with even a hint of pink/red in it. I doubt flavour came into it for them. They really liked the juicy drinks as well. I thought these were great because I always water down their fruit juice. Compared to the smoothies, I found they could open these cartons much more easily. My three year old just can't manage the smoothie carton without getting it all over himself, so he will certainly be getting a juicy drink instead in future.
I would be aware of the innocent brand and of the fact that the product is all natural, which I like. I would buy the juicy drinks again, great for picnics or car trips and I feel better for the boys than other juice products on the market.

Hi,

Firstly, thanks so much for including us in the testing group and for the lovely pacakage we recieved.

I had 2 testers in my house, my 4.5 year old daughter who just started school and my 2.5 year old daughter who started montessori so they needed to bring a drink in with them everyday to school.

I am very aware of the innocent brand as we buy innocent smoothies 4 pack during our weekly shop and teh smoothies are asked for from the moment we buy them, teh rule is if they are good they can have them at the checkout. I buy mostly organic food and am very aware of what i give to he kids, so innocent meets my families needs in that respect.

The new juice drinks went down a storm, they enjoyed both flavours and the fact that it was spring water with a hint of juice really appealed to me. I also loved that the carton was square, wil a flat top to insert the straw, my daughters woudl have trouble opening the smoothie cartons te emselves so the newer style juice carton was mush easier and meant i coudl send them into school and knew they wouldbe able to manage.

100% positive feedback from our house in all areas!

I hope they are a huge success, when will they be available in the shops?

Kindest regards,

Aisling

Hi. Thanks a million for including us in your testing group. I had one tester here, a 6 yr old girl.

1.I have often watered down juices in the past for my daughter as many have quite a strong taste.
2. I am aware of the innocent brand and have used smoothie tubes for school lunches.
3.Yes we have tried innocent products before.
4.She loved all of the drinks.
5. She drank every bit of each flavour.
6.She liked both the apple and the orange juice equally.
7.Yes I did feel it was a healthier option and doesn't have that strong taste that other juices have. Just perfect for children.
8.The lack of concentrates, additives, flavourings and weird stuff is definitely a huge plus point.
9.Definitely a nice addition to a lunch box.
10. It was just right for taste and not full of nasties.
11.definitely a handy way of getting one of their 5 a day into children.
12.I would buy this product again as my daughter loves it and loves the idea of smooothies rather than regular juice all the time.
13.My daughter enjoyed the flavours provided but would be willing to give any other flavour a try too I am sure.Probably blackcurrant would be a good choice for her.
14.She liked them all equally for taste but the smoothie would probably just win as it's a bit different to plain old regular juice.

Many Thanks
Kerri.

Hi. Firstly I would llike to say a big thank you for allowing us to product test the Innocent Little Tasty Drinks.

I had four tasters in this household: Ciara aged 8, Susie aged 6, Gilly aged 3 and Drew aged 1.

* I almost always water down my children's juice drinks.

* I am aware of the Innocent brand and have bought Innocent Smoothies and and Innocent Fruit Tubes before.

* All four of my children loved the Innocent Juice Drinks.

* They not only drank it all; they were also back looking for more!

* Two of my children would normally have a preferance for orange based juice drinks and my other two would generally prefer apple based juice drinks. I gave all four of them apple on the first day and again all four of them had orange on the second day. They pronouced each of them to be "yummy".

* I definitely feel that giving them an Innocent juice drink would be a healthier option than a lot of the juice drinks on the market today and I appreciated the fact that there were no concentrates, additives and flarourings added.

* I have given my school going children the Innocent drinks in their lunch boxes since they went back to school and they have been a big hit.

* I have brought Innocent products before and will continue to buy them into the future. My kids like them and they get a kick out of the cartons with their informative puzzles and games.

* My eldest daughter Ciara generally doesn't like anything "bitty" so she was very reluctant to try the smoothie drinks. After a bit of coxing she did eventually try one and said that it was quite nice; it didn't taste like she thought it was going to taste and she said she would quite happily drink another one. Given the choice though she would probably go for the juice drinks. My other three children were quite happy to drink either the smoothies or the juice drinks.

Hi, Thanks for including us in your Innocent Trials, we really enjoyed the experience! I have three testers here, all boys aged 10, 5 and 3!
I would have watered down juices before, my kids didn't like the strong taste but with the Innocent juices they loved the fact that although they were delicious and "juicy" they didn't taste too strongly!
I have tried Innocent smoothies before and the kids always enjoyed them. They really enjoyed the juice drinks more than the smoothies this time, especially the apple which was a firm favourite with all three! I did like the fact that I knew there were no additives or flavourings in these drinks and as one of my boys isn't great on eating fruit it's a great way to know they're getting one "five a day" quite easily!
I would put these drinks into the boys lunchboxes without a doubt (they've asked me to buy them again!).
I would like to see smoothies with milder flavour, eg Melon, or Carrot? I think younger children would enjoy these more.

Thanks again for including us in your trial, hope our feedback is useful!
