Thanks very much for sending the product to me and including me in the test.
My kids really liked the juice drink. We are fans of juice in our house and I do try to water it down when they have turned their back so it is a good solution for me in that way. (I worry about juice and the kids teeth). I liked that the individual cartons had straws which the dentist said was good if the kids are drinking juice.
We have bought the innocent smoothies and fruit tubes before and like them both.
The jury on flavour was split evenly between apple and orange so no great epiphany there. I loved the fact that it wasn't made from concentrate and that there were no additives in it.
The kids would love it to be part of their lunch box every day and I think it beats and pants off other supposed juice drinks like Capri Sun etc which are just pants. We would definitely buy it again especially when you have it on price promotion as the kids loved it and it didn't have any bad stuff.
Our one wish would be a new variety of blackcurrant please.
Thanks Mummy Pages and Innocent - would definitely like to do this again. Anytime. LOL

The 2 older kids loved the smoothies, think the little one (2) found them a little strong - she is used to watered down juices. Of the juices, the orange was the preference, neither of the older ones (4 and 6) liked the apple juice - said it didn't taste nice. Having said that, I liked the apple juice! The strawberry/raspberry smoothie was a clear winner - the boys loved it the best. The smoothies or juices would make a great addition to the school lunchboxes, but at the moment, the smoothies are expensive esp if there are 2 kids and therefore 10 lunches per week needed. They all agreed that they would like a flavour to include banana for something new. Its a great way to get one of the five a day into them, they had the smoothies drank in a couple of minutes. When asked, both boys preferred the smoothies to the juices so they were the winner here. I liked the fact that it didn't have any additives and the fact that it wasn't made from concentrates - thats a huge advantage. So thanks Mummypages for including us in your survey!

Hi and many thanks to mummy pages and innocent for the fab juices and smoothies !

I have never watered down juice drinks. I do buy the smoothies for my little girl (4) and her friends love them also.

My kids all really loved the juices and immediately they were gone, wanted me to buy more, both apple and orange were a hit, the smoothies went down very well with all also.

I feel innocent is healthier as it doesn't contain any crap and is not made from concentrate. The kids have decided to have these in their lunch boxes which is great as the boys are quiet finiky eaters and so it is a great way of getting some goodness into them.

I will definetly be buying this product again because they love it and is a better alternative to other so called juice drinks.

The boys preferred the juices and my little girl preferred the smoothies, purely on taste.

How about carrot and orange for a new variety ?

They also felt very important doing a product test and were so excited when the products arrived, you can count us in anytime.

Thanks.

Thanks so much for giving me the chance to test the innocent juicy drinks. I have 1 baby and he is 1 and he loves them I gave him the Orange Juicy drink to start with and I didn't need to water them down which is fantastic he couldn't get enough of it. He loved the apple juice as much as the orange juice and this is the 1st time ever he drank apple juice he usually throw a face and won't drink it. I gave him the smoothies and he loved them but he is still very young so I did water them down a bit for him and he drank them shocked !!!
Such an amazing product I would have never have taught about buying these products for him but now I'm converted I will be buying these drinks every week. I love the way they are all natural and don't contain bad stuff. I'm so glad I tried these. I will be recommending these to the other mum's out there.. Fantastic

Hello there, Thanks so much for allowing me to take part in this taste test!! My two aged 5 and 2 met the courier at the door and couldnt wait to get stuck in! I do buy the Innocent Smoothies so they are both already fans, its the only way i can get fruit into my 5 year old! The juices went down very well both had never tried apple juice but were very surprised at how nice it was! I always water down juice but with these juice drinks there was no need to which is great!! I have to say I found the juice lovely light and refreshing and will definately be buying them, will be so handy for lunch too! Will definately be recommending these to others!!

I've had no internet until this week so wasn't able to respond until now! The juices & smoothies arrived late last Thursday evening and when I told E (3) that they were for him to try out he was super excited. It was very thoughtful to include a few samples of the shopping glasses which we will be putting to good use.

E is great for eating fruit but not great at trying new flavours and tastes. We had tried him with the smoothie range before and failed but this time around it's been a success. He particularly likes the Mango & Orange Smoothie. He's not too pushed on the mixed berry smoothie but that's okay as Mammy is going to help him with that. The mixed berry smoothie has an excellent Vitamin C content which is very handy as I'm 31 weeks pregnant and coming down with a cold.

He loves both the orange and apple juice boxes. At a push I'd say he prefers the apple. I'm happy because they are watered down because that is something I would do myself anyway.

We also have a 12 year old in the house. She does love the smoothies and juices but says they are too childish for her lunchbox in secondary school. We are keeping them for when she gets home. It's very interesting how peer pressure can define the drinks they choose once they transition from primary school.

I will definitely buy all of these products again providing the price point is right.

Thank you for selecting Katie to try the new Juicy Jucies and smoothies from Innocent. Katie is lactose intolerant so I am always looking for an alternative to water so she doesn't feel left out in school. I think I have found it in the apple juicy juice. Her immediate reaction was 'yummy'. She didn't finish it all, but that would not be unusual for her.

I love the fact that they come in a pack of 5 and not just 3 - makes absolute sense for school time. The orange juicy juice tastes like freshly squeezed oranges but without the bitterness you can somethimes get. The added spring water is a great idea and makes them a very healthy option and not so acidic on little teeth.

As a suggestion for future flavours my house agrees that cranberry would be a good bet as that would be our most popular choice of 1 ltr juice for us, and particularly with the older kids.

The strawberry, raspberry & blackberry smoothie was the most popular with Katie, although her favourite innocent smoothie is the kiwi, apple & lime which doesn't come in the kids packs - maybe something to do with the green colour. They are a great way to get fresh fruit into kids during school, or when they come home as a healthy snack.

The only issue I have with the kids smoothies is that the heavy outer box packaging seems unnecessary and I would be interested to know what percentage of people store the smoothies in the box, in the fridge - the first thing I do is take them out of the box as they then fit nicely in the fridge drawer.

Thanks again for selecting us & I will be off to the shop to stock up for the new school term.

Huge thanks for including Ella in the innocent trial. There was great excitement when we got the delivery. Firstly i was delighted to see the juices were in packs of five. Ella had stopped drinking both apple and orange juices about a year ago for some unknown reason but im delighted to say this has now changed. Both flavours went down really well but out of the two i noticed Ella reaching for the Apple cartons out of the fridge with that said on the days i handed her the orange juice the carton was emptied. I was really impressed that the juices aren't from concentrate and the added spring water is great. Ella could open carton really easily and really enjoyed the juices, i'll be buying these in the future and im thrilled to have found them thanks to the trial.

Innocent smoothies are part of my weekly shop due to not having the best fruit eater. I buy them because i know they are such good quality and part of Ella's five a day. All flavours get a thumbs up here but the raspberry, strawberry and blackberry was the favourite. When buying the smoothies i buy alternate flavours each week as im concious kids get tired of the same thing easily. Perhaps in future innocent smoothies might come in variety boxes. It would also be good for us to try out new flavours without committing to buying a whole box. But as i buy them so often i usually have a variety in the fridge anyway.

Ella finds it hard to get the straw into the smoothies but i usually give them to her at home so its not a problem . We both love the packaging i love how its so clear to see what is in each carton and Ella likes reading the cartons and looking at the pictures.

Thanks again for choosing us for the trial we loved all the products, looking forward to seeing the juices in the supermarket!

Thank you for including us in the Innocent trial—all the drinks were devoured by my boys (3 years and 7 years) who already drink loads of Innocent smoothies. (Kiwi, apple & lime is a longstanding favourite.) They were delighted (as was I) to see the juice drinks in the trial pack and tried them first. Both flavours were a hit, but they favoured the orange. My 7 year old drank every drop, though my youngest left about a third of the apple. I'd definitely buy both juices again—orange for the older ones and apple for their younger sister when she reaches a year. I am one to water down drinks for the kids when they're very small, so the added spring water is a plus. The great taste and flavours with no additives is the selling point for us. Same with the smoothies, which remain the boys' favourites. Both smoothie flavours included in the trial were devoured. When asked, they both said "the red one" was their favourite. As for future varieties: we'd definitely try melon and blueberry varieties. Thanks again!

Hi,

Thanks for picking us ta take part in the new innocent juices trial. My boys are 9 & 4 and we buy innocent smoothies every week,in fact we have the entire a-z of fridge magnets on the fridge door. The pack arrived last thursday evening and the smoothies and juices joined the smoothie pack i had just picked up in that weeks shop :) Now onto the testing:

1, No i have never watered down their usual juice, unless of course it was a dilutable drink.

2, Yes am very aware of the brand,we drink it regularly.

3, As above

4,They really enjoyed the juices

5,yes they drank them all

6,They both preferred the apple drink but liked the orange drink too. I tried them both as well and i actually preferred the orange.

7,I do feel the juices are a healthier option,i love that they're all natural.

8, Yes

9,Unfortunately my sons go to a school with both a green flag and a healthy eating policy so while the juices fit the healthy eating, under the recyclable rules the cartons are not allowed.

10,I think the innocent juices are a much better alternative to the other juices available on the market.

11,Yes,we eat a lot of fruit at home but when on the go the cartons are great.

12,I would buy this product again, while they can't bring them to school they're handy for afterschool snacks and for drinking after extra curricular activities or with their breakfast in the mornings.

13,They would like blackcurrant flavour.

14,One prefers the drink while the other prefers the smoothies :) Because of taste and texture for both.

My daughter (4) was delighted to be included in this trial. We are already big innocent smoothie fans so were looking forward to trying the juices.
My 11 year old son also tried the juices and gave his verdict.
Both loved the orange juice but neither were mad about the apple juice (no surprise as they're not really into apples either). I'd love to try some other flavours in them though. Depending on price I would purchase them again but not for school for the younger one as she was unable to finish the whole carton in one sitting so a lot would be wasted.
I would love if these type of drinks came in 100ml size as that would also be perfect for taking in your bag on the plane for the kids;-)
Overall the juices were a hit but they still prefer the smoothies. Thanks again for letting us try them.

Hi, We got the Innocent Smoothies & Juices the other day & they were a big hit.

We had bought the Smoothies lots of times before so there was great excitement when they came too, I was only expecting to trial the new juices.

As I explained when applying, my son Jack has Cerebral Palsy & is prone to constipation, so Smoothies & juices are a great way to get get fluids & vitamins into him.

He loved them all but found the apple juice a bit strong, I tried it too & found it a bit sour but being a natural juice means it tastes like the real thing, I'm so glad its not sweetened or flavoured, doesn't have any additives & is not made from concentrates either.

I made my own juice before & used melon & peach, it was really tasty, maybe that'd be a recipie for you to try?

My 3 kids liked all of the smoothies & juices, but the smoothies were easier for my disabled child to manage, they fill him up better too.

Thanks very much for sending us the freebies, we loved taking part & would gladly help out again if the chance came up,

Thanks again,

SandraSmiling

Got our drinks to try and im considering hiding them from the
kids - they are so nummy! The kids love the new juicy drinks as well as
the smoothies that they have always loved. Few questions I need to
answer so here goes.

Yes I have often watered down juice for them.

Yes we are well aware of the Innocent brand and have tried the products before.

Kids loved the juicy drink and drank it all no problem.

They prefered the apple drink.

Much
healthier than normal juices as it has no yeucky stuff in it just juice
and spring water and not concentrated juice either!!

Brilliant for lunchboxes.

Kids dont get given other juices because of all the junk in them so these are great for them.

Easy
way to get one of the five a day. Mind you if my kids had a choice all
of their five a day would be taken very quickly just drinking these.

Will
buy these again as they are so easy to carry around, no junk in them,
fussy kids love them and they are all natural and fresh.

Kids would drink other flavours like blackcurrant and raspberry and strawberry and anything you can think of!

They like the smoothies and the juicey drink both the same.

Seriously nice drinks.....
