Hi MummyPages!

Thank you for sending on the InnoTab, my little guy just loves it!

My child found the InnoTab easy to use once he had a little bit of time to mess around with it. All the different functions are very clear and easy to find (but it wasn’t too simple so he never got bored!)

As a toy it looks great…almost like a kid’s iPad. He was v impressed when he saw it (as was I) so it’s definitely a great present to have under the Christmas tree. It seems to be durable and of good quality…he hasn’t damaged it yet anyway which is a miracle.

The e-reader is great and he really enjoyed the books that were on it. I personally prefer to read from an actual book instead of an e-reader but he really enjoyed it. He isn’t a massive fan of books so this is a great way to encourage him to do some reading.

The mp3 and the portable video are of excellent quality so I can finally reclaim my iPod!

When I heard that that the InnoTab was only €100 I was shocked! With all the functions available, I really would have expected it to be a lot more expensive. As a quality toy that my child loves, it is definitely worth the money and would make a fantastic Christmas gift.

Loved being a Mummy tester!

Hi MummyPages,
Me and my two daughters loved testing the InnoTab…they were thrilled when it arrived to the house and couldn’t wait to get started!

They found the InnoTab very easy to use…like most kids these days they are fairly good with anything computer related and they were able to get into it straight away without any difficulty.

The tablet is fairly light…so far the quality seems fine. There is a built-in stand which is a great idea, especially when they used the InnoTab as a digital picture frame for their photos. It was very simple to add photos and it was a feature that my kids really loved…they always love looking at photos of themselves…unlike their mother! J

We downloaded a few games which the girls enjoyed and I found them to be very reasonably priced (especially compared to the Leapfrog which are far more expensive.)

The display was very easy to read and the mp3 player is an excellent feature…my girls love to sing and dance and so this was a big hit.

I would definitely recommend the InnoTab as a gift…it is very good value for money and I know any child would be delighted to get it as a Christmas present.

Hi MummyPages,

Thank you so much for picking us to test the Innotab. My two (4 and 6) absolutley loved it - they have barely put it down. The touch screen is so easy to use - they instinctively started to play with the Innotab and I finally have my iphone back!

We were so impressed by the built in apps. My daughter loves colouring so the colouring app was a massive hit. My son is really curious and loved learning about countries using the built in globe.

We downloaded some new apps and I thought that they were very reasonably priced and I think its great that the Innotab will change with them. As they get older and their interests change they can download new apps.

We did let it fall ( a few times) but the Innotab was well able to withstand the kids demands.

The kids were so excited when they realised that the photos they took with their Vtech Kiddizoom camera could be easily transferred to the Inntab. This provided hours of fun.

If we are being nerdy, and my husband is a self confessed nerd, he loved the gravity sensor which makes the game playing really fun. This measn tilting it will cause a movement on screen.

My son is just getting into reading and the Innotab ereader has given him some independence which has really boosted his confidence.

Overall, we were really impressed with the Innotab. It is fun and educational, tough yet sleek looking and won't break the bank. The only thing I would like is if it came with a vtech adaptor and sd memory card. I bought these because I think they are must haves - you could get caught out on xmas morning without them! Batteries are fine when you are heading out but it makes sense to plug in at home.

Thanks again MummyPages - we loved being Mums Say testers. Jen x

I was lucky enough to recently win an Innotab thanks to Mummypages.ie. You can imagine my delighted at receiving such a lovely gift that is so highly sought after at the moment. The Innotab is alot better than I had anticipated it to be. I was surprised at the amount of activites already loaded on to the Innotab. My 4 year old daughter and 8 year old son were very impressed with it. They found it easy to use and it is amazingly light weight too. The feature which we all liked the most was the drawing one. It is so versatile and easy to use. My daughter especially loved the fact that she could introduce shapes and objects to her drawings.

My son loved the e-reader and penguin game that came preloaded on to the device and spent ages reading and playing. Unfortuately we didn't get to download any items on to it as I realised at the last minute that it requires and SD card to save any downloaded information. I did however register the product online and have a look at the online store. There is a wide variety of books, games etc to choose from. All are reasonably priced and can be divided up according to age categories.

The Innotab allows children to download their own photos, videos, music etc . In my opinion this is a great educational toy for any household to have. It will keep children entertained for ages and allow them to learn in a fun way.

The only real negative I would have is in relation to the stylus that comes with it. It is very hard and I think in time it will lead to scratches on the screen. I replaced it with a regular soft tip tablet stylus which we had at home and it worked much better.

The Innotab is a great learning tool for children and I would definately recommended it to anyone looking to get a tablet for a young child. It is very inexpensive compared to other tablets out there and is very child friendly. I would give it 4.5 out of 5, with the only deduction being for the stylus.
