27-year-old Bethany Hamilton, who survived a shark attack at the age of 13, took to the waves with her toddler son last week. Bethany lost one of her arms in the 2003 attack, but it hasn't kept her from the board.

The pro surfer shared an adorable photo with her 1.6M Instagram followers of herself and two-year-old Tobias hangin' 10 last week.

It's great to see them taking to the waves!

Bethany certainly sets a great example of how to conquer your fears in order to pursue what you love. She wrote a book about her experience in 2004, called Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on the Board and the 2011 film Soul Surfer also tells her story. She still surfs professionally and came in third at the Fiji Women's Pro surfing competition in 2016.

The inspirational athlete recently announced that she and husband Adam Dirks are expecting their second child, which she alluded to in her caption: "Tobias, baby and I surfing this last week!!!"

They are too cute!

Bethany, her loving husband, and their son announced the pregnancy in an Instagram video on October 8 - and it is absolutely darling.

"Where's baby?" Adam asks his blonde son in the video.

"Right there," Tobias cheerfully replies, pointing off-screen.

"Can you go give baby kiss?" Adam says to his son, who quickly runs off and smooches his mum's baby belly.

More than thankful to share our joyous news!!! #babyinthere #babyonboard

They are too cute for words! And it seems like Tobias is going to be a great big brother.

Maybe he can give his little sibling surfing lessons!
