Get your tissues out for this one! RTÉ just released Ireland's 2018 Eurovision entry, and it's equal parts stunning and heartbreaking.

'Together', penned by Ryan O'Shaughnessy, Mark Caplice and Laura Elizabeth Hughes, describes a rocky romantic relationship in simple yet poetic terms.

"We were drifting like two icebergs out on the ocean/I was doing all I could to keep you close/There were troubles in the water," Ryan sings tenderly in the opening lines. Yep, the waterworks have started.

We also adore the accompanying video, which follows a young couple as they dance through Temple Bar. It was directed by Christian Tierney, who has worked with the likes of The Weekend, Demi Lovato, and Drake.

The video was choreographed by the amazing Ciaran Connolly (he's worked with Robbie Williams, Take That, Michael Bublé, and more, so he knows his stuff) and those graceful dancers lighting up the streets of Temple Bar are Alan McGrath and Kevin O'Dwyer.

Ryan said of the music video, "It was amazing seeing the video come to life in the way it did, sticking with the original concept that love is universal and there are testing moments in every relationship.

"I can't wait for all Eurovision fans to hear the track and check out the video!"

The former Fair City star was also excited to see what his mum had to say about the tune (because mum knows best, of course!).

"My number one critic who just so happens to be my mother, listened to my latest single ‘Together’ during breakfast in NYC this week, and it’s the first time I’ve seen her more excited then I am about an up and coming release," the 25-year-old shared on Instagram.

She's his biggest inspiration, Ryan revealed in the heartfelt post: "My Mam is the reason why I started singing, the reason why I love what I do, and the reason why I’m on this planet. So basically... don’t blame me, blame my mother..."

Well thanks for making us cry again, Ryan! We are so excited to see him perform the song at the first Eurovision Semi Final on Tuesday, May 8.

What do you think of 'Together', mums?
