The Kardashians have used their famous name to promote many products from makeup and hair products to slimming teas and waist trainers.

Now Kim is endorsing a slightly less glamorous product, a drug called Diclegis which combats morning sickness. When Kim shared the sponsored post, fans speculated on whether the reality star might be pregnant again.

This time around Kim was careful to post a detailed description of the possible side-effects of the drug as she received criticism for promoting the drug without listing the side-effects while pregnant with Saint.

The Food and Drug Administration  (FDA)  released a warning letter after Kim’s initial post two years ago, saying her sponsored selfie failed to disclose the risks involved.

When she first promoted the drug, Kim was quite casual in her social media caption, writing: “OMG. Have you heard about this? As you guys know, my morning sickness has been pretty bad. I tried changing things about my lifestyle, like my diet, but nothing helped, so I talked to my doctor.”

Beside the photo of her holding up a bottle of Diclegis, she added: “He prescribed me Diclegis, I felt a lot better and most importantly, it’s been studied and there was no increased risk to the baby. I’m so excited and happy with my results that I’m partnering with Duchesnay USA to raise awareness about treating morning sickness.”

But it seems poor Kim can’t win as some fans criticised her for using a “copy and paste” description of the drug’s side-effects this time around, with one tweeting Kim saying: “Really? Please don’t do the dirty work of big pharma ever again. I like you.”

Kim has made no secret of the fact that she would like a third child and recently had an operation on her womb to try to correct her placenta accreta, a condition where the placenta stays attached to the womb after birth.

However, the operation wasn’t successful and Kim has been told a third pregnancy would be “high-risk”, given this condition and her history of pre-eclampsia.

She’s since been looking into other options such as surrogacy to have a third child.  On a recent episode of KUWTK, Kim talked to a mum who had a child by surrogacy about her experience. It’s even reported that sisters Khloe and Kourtney have both offered to be surrogates for her.

Kim previously said she was happy with two children but it seems she and husband Kanye have changed their minds since.
