She has made it all the way to the final of Strictly Come Dancing, and it seems the love and support of her husband has proven instrumental for Louise Redknapp.
The 42-year-old has admitted that hubby Jamie has been close by her side throughout her journey on the show – much to her own surprise.
She told the Daily Star: “When I first started doing this show, I thought Jamie – this isn’t going to be up his street. But I can’t get rid of him!”
“Every Saturday he’s in the front row; he’s in the training room…I wasn’t expecting that. I was expecting it would be me, going off to work, doing my thing,” she added.
Louise, who has been married to Jamie for 18 years, revealed that her husband’s support has meant the world to her.
“It’s really nice to see someone you love extremely proud of you. It takes me back to 20 years ago, when we first met and I was on stage – all good things come from Strictly!” she gushed.
Louise and Jamie are parents to two sons: 11-year-old Charley, and seven-year-old Beau.
