Prince William has been busy with both royal duties and family responsibilities while his pregnant wife Kate Middleton is resting due to severe morning sickness.

The Duke of Cambridge opened up about the busy week he’s had while chatting to patients and paramedics during a visit to a Liverpool hospital.

When asked by a patient how Kate and the children were, William replied: “She's doing very well, thanks.

"George started school, so it's been a very interesting week", he added.

Referring to daughter Charlotte, he said: "She's going to be trouble when she gets older. All fathers say that to me, watch out for the little girls. But they're all very well, thanks”.

The Prince was taking a tour of the new Urgent Care and Trauma Centre at the hospital in Fazakerley and will also visit Aintree Hospital, a mental health hub in Walton and a leisure centre in Wallasey.

Unfortunately, Prince George’s school has attracted unwelcome interest after a female stalker turned up at his school twice in 24 hours.

According to The Mail Online, the woman managed to get into the building by posing as a legitimate visitor. She left after staff approached her but was arrested after she was seen loitering outside the following day.

The police are following one line of inquiry that the woman is a “fixated individual” who is obsessed with the royal family.

Sadly, Kate missed out on her son’s first day at school due to the severe form of morning sickness she suffers from, known as hyperemesis gravidarum.

Proud dad William was on hand to bring young George to his first day at Thomas’ Battersea, a private primary school situated around four miles from his home in Kensington Palace.

The Duke and Duchess’ choice was announced by the Palace earlier this year.

“Their Royal Highnesses are delighted to have found a school where they are confident George will have a happy and successful start to his education,” an official statement read.

The adorable youngster will not be allowed have a “best friend” at school as the school’s policy discourages children from having only a singular best friend.

We’re sure gregarious George won’t be short of pals – he’s such a charming and funny little boy!
