She is already a doting mum to her twins, eight-year-old Max and Emme, but if singer Jennifer Lopez has her way, there will be plenty more little ones running around her house in the future.

The stunning 45-year-old was appearing on The Ellen Show this week when talk turned to motherhood, with the On The Floor singer admitting that she is hoping to have four or five more babies.

“I would love to have more kids. I love my kids, I wish I would have four or five more. If I got pregnant I would be so excited,” gushed the star.

When asked by Ellen if she would ever consider adoption, Jennifer said that it’s a possibility, and she went on to pay a beautiful tribute to motherhood and its journey.

“I love kids, and I love the whole experience…The fact that you get to love somebody unconditionally in that way, and not even care if they love back, you just want them so much – that’s the biggest blessing in the world,” she said, adding that she would love to experience it “a thousand times over”.

What a beautiful way to describe being a mum. Max and Emme sure are lucky!
