Joy for actress as she welcomes second child

Just last week she teased fans with what they could expect from her choice of name for her second child, and it turns out she wasn’t too far away from giving birth when she made those comments!

 

Congratulations are in order this morning for actress Jaime King, who has given birth to her second child, a son, with husband Kyle Newman.

 

The former Hart of Dixie star took to her Instagram page to share the wonderful news with her fans and followers, posting a heartwarming photo of her family from their hospital room.

 

The 36-year-old, who is already mum to 21-month-old son James Knight, captioned the photo: “We are SO happy to welcome to the world our new baby boy! Born Thursday, July 16^th!”

The star’s husband, Kyle, marked his little one’s arrival with a photo of Jaime and James posing together, teasing that the baby’s name is ‘coming soon’.

 

Just last week, in an interview with People, Jaime said that we shouldn’t be expecting anything too ‘Hollywood’ in a name.

“I know the first part, we just have to decide on the second part. Names are never easy, you don’t want something to be too ‘Hollywood’ and out there. I want my child to feel strong in life and in business and what they do, but it’s still romantic at the same time,” she said.

 

We are over the moon for Jaime and her beautiful family.
