The streets of Ireland’s cities and towns were busy last night as Junior Cert students celebrated their results.

Ireland’s emergency services described a “hectic” night with all 12 Dublin Fire Brigade ambulances on high alert as well as a number of alcohol related incidents.

One such incident however has struck fear into many parents.

A 15-year-old boy was recovered from D’Olier Street in Dublin last night where it is understood authorities believed him to be suffering from an ecstasy overdose.

The teenager was found at 9pm and brought to St. James’ Hospital and although conscious and breathing, was described as being “in a bad way.”

The teenager had been out, like thousands of others, celebrating his Junior Cert results.

While there has been no update on his situation as of yet, hopefully the boy will make a full recovery.

Such a scary thing for any parent to go through.
