The Duchess of Cambridge has penned a moving letter as part of Children’s Hospice Week. The mum-of-three has opened up about the precious moments she spends with her children- Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, and husband Prince William.

She shared that she was honoured to be a patron of East Anglia's Children Hospices, “I am celebrating the remarkable and life-changing support provided by children’s hospices and palliative care charities across the UK.”

She added, “They offer a lifeline to children and families facing the unimaginable.”

The Duchess explained that the theme of this year’s Children’s Hospice Week is ‘Life’s Short’. “I am touched that children and young people are sharing what they love most in life and reminding us of how precious time is for everyone.”

Kate encouraged the public to embrace every moment in the touching letter. We love how the Duchess took time out of her maternity leave to send such an inspiring message to the public.

The doting mum wrote: “Spending quality time together is such an important aspect of family life and for me, as a mother, it is the simple family moments like playing outside together that I cherish.”

She ended the letter by asking the public to join her in spreading positivity this week, “Together we can champion the vital role that children’s hospices play in helping seriously ill children and families to have more precious moments.”

It has been so sweet to see Kate and Will's family grow over the past few years. The family-of-five never fail to make us smile.
