I was using this cream on my sons scar, after surgery which he had few years back. It is quite big as his chest was opened for heart surgery. Never used tht cream. Vey nice, soft cream, dry pretty fast. At this stage my son is using it as his night and morning routine. Scar is more soft, I think the colour is changed as well and the edges are not so visible. Really hppy with it!

After using kelo cite for the last 3 weeks I found it brilliant very easy to use and easy to put into my daily routine. My scar from a csection is a lot flatter and the redness is fading and that's just after 3 weeks I will continue to use the product and would definitly recommended this product!

I had not heard of Kelo-cote prior to this trial, however I have multiple scars from having various moles removed (one scar had 16 stitches alone) and I also have 4 scars from having keyhole surgery to remove my Gallbladder, so I was definitely interested in giving this a try.
The trial was to use the gel for 3 weeks, however when the package arrived I was sceptical that it would last that long as the tube was tiny, but on reading the instruction leaflet I only needed to apply a very thin layer. The gel has quite a thick consistency when squeezed from the tube, which I would have expected to be difficult to spread out into a thin layer but it spreads over the scar easily. The instructions say to ensure the gel is completely dry before dressing / covering which they said would take 4-5 minutes, I found that the gel dried much quicker than this. The gel needs to be applied twice daily, I always remembered the morning application however I will admit that I did not always remember the night application.
My scars vary in size, texture and colour. Also I had a baby 6 months ago so the scar across my tummy / belly button have all been stretched hugely only to shrink back to near original size. All in all I was sceptical that the gel would be able to improve all of them, I was wrong. I can see an improvement in all the scars some more so than others. I had 3 that were very pink in colour these have started to fade to a more normal colour. I had 4 scars that were quite bumpy in appearance where the skin had healed in an overlap type of fashion, these are sofening slightly. One of the larger scars was surrounded by stretch marks from the pregnancy, while the gel does not claim to improve the appearance of stretch marks the bits that are close to the scar and get the benefit of the gel are definitely improving. According to the literature the recommended treatment time is 60-90 days and I have only done a little over 3 weeks, the results that I have gotten so far means I will definitely be continuing the applications.
Finally, I would recommend this gel to others in a heartbeat, while I don't know how much it costs it still cant be as much as what I have spent on various other products that promise the results that have so far only gotten from Kelo-Cote

What can i say. Never heard of Kelo-Cote until this trial, and so glad i was chosen. Well so far i'm pretty amazed by the way this gel works. Think i put on too much the first time but surely got the hang of it. One wee drop has so much coverage. Still half a tube left... Happy days ;) I have a cross shaped scar on the back of my wrist from four different surgeries to remove re-curring Ganglion cysts. (Three accross and other straight down, so scar is in the shape of a cross). The smallest scar (accross) is making such an improvement, not as pink as before. Tends to get a bit itchy from time to time. But most definately softer to touch and not as sensitive as before i think. The most recent scar (longways) still a bit pink looking but i'm totally happy with the outcome so far and i'm continuing to use Kelo-Cote. I also have a scar on the palm of my hand from Carpel Tunnel release surgery, but the Kelo-cote doesn't seem to stay on that area atall. You wouldn't really notice it because of all the lines and creases in palm of hand, so i'm not too bothered about that one. I'm just happy it seems to be working on the other scars. Definately would recommend this gel to anyone with scars . Thank you Mummy Pages for choosing me in this trial and hope there are many more with good reults. ;) ;) I love Kelo-Cote.

So far I find this product fantastic, I have a facial scar and it goes on smoothly, I have had not itch or pain in the scar tissue and once dry, is easy to apply make up over it. I believe more time is required to notice any change in the scar tissue, but I am happy to contour using this product,

I ve never heard about this brand before i found the info on mummypages but i use to use a lot of different scar removers before. I ve got really bad looking scar on the top of my hand after chemical burn with caustic soda and nothing work for it so far.
When i heard about this trial i started to looking for the information about Kelo Cote and and i heard that is clinically proven but all cosmetics has this same desription this days. When i ve got my trial product i started using but i was nt really sure what can i expect.
First of all does nt smell bad which happens with this kind of cosmetics and is very easy to apply. Does nt stay on my skin too lond but is dry in such a short period of time so you don t have to remember for hours not to use your hand haha.
Becuase i really want to get rid of my scar and i was determined so i found very easy to remember to use Kelo Cote and was no problem to incorporate thi product into my daily routine.
i Have to say that i am very inpatient person so i afer just few days i was angry that was scar did nt go yet! It did nt happend but after two weeks this scar was a lot of lighter and not ichy anymore do that was huge improvment compare to my previous experience. Of course i did nt give up to using Kelo Cote and i really can see that my scar is smaller and definitly softener. I took the advice from the website and i made the picture at the beggining and i will make another after 2 month. I don t think that my scar dissapear but i belive that it will be even less visible than now.

Using this product 3-4 weeks on my four year old daughter, she has 2 scars on her forehead and 1 on her nose from a fall a few months ago,, 1 of the scars was v raised and red, any product I've used before she hasn't liked the texture of and has wiped it off or had a melt down over it !!
From day 1 she's had no complaints about using this it's so fast drying she hardly noticed I'd put it on, the scar on her nose which wasn't too bad is gone and the raised 1 is now less red and is nearly flat !! Very impressed and would buy it again if needed.

I was not aware of the brand Kelo cote before this trial.I found it very easy to use the product, it was easy to apply and it was soothing on the skin.I used it first thing in the morning and last thing before going to bed so it fitted into my normal daily routine. I used it for 3 weeks twice a day on Keloid scars from surgery. I found no difference in the appearance of my scars but I do find they have softened which is great. I will continue to use Kelo cote for another 6 to 9 months as I do believe that using it for a longer period would help. Thank you for introducing me to this product and allowing me to be a part of your trial.

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of this trial on my son's scar. He had an accident on a swing set and had to get stitches. His scar healed out rather than in, he is 9 years old and is very much aware of the scar on his arm. I had not heard of the Kelo-Cote gel, it was very easy to apply, not sticky and dried very quickly, my son was not bothered by it being applied to his arm. He used to always complain his scar was itchy and annoying him, although since using Kelo-Cote he has not complained once. It was relatively easy to include it in our daily routine, applying it twice a day, only forgetting to apply it the second time on a couple of occassions. The scar has softened and there is a significant impovement in the appearance / size of the scar. My son is delighted. I will be buying this product and will highly recommend the Kelo-Cote gel to other mums, friends & family Smiling

The creme is truly superb, very easy to use and you can really see a big difference. I knew the creme from before, it was advised to us by a plastic surgent to use on my son's face that was bitten badly by dog. After nearly 1.5 years later the scar can hardly be seen which we have never thought. The cream dries very easily and quickly. This time I used it on my other son's forehead and even after 3 weeks you can see a huge improvement. (He split it and it had to be clued, it looked very bad.)

I would highly recommend this cream and I am delighted if it can be brought in ireland too.

Been using Kelo Cote now for about 2 weeks on my two boys, it is easy to apply, has a nice soft smooth texture so easy to apply and dries very quickly. I have noticed a little change on one of my boys scars, it is more calmer looking and not so sharp. I am excited to see what changes it will make to both boys after a month. I have started to use it on one of my scars and I feel it's not as bumpy as usual but I'll keep an eye on it over the next few months. My boys love getting the gel on and feel it makes them special.

I had never heard of this product before seeing the trial mentioned on Mummypages.ie. So after a quick Google, I definitely wanted to give it a try. I have scars on my hands from falling through a glass door about 20 years ago, scars on my stomach from surgeries and my most recent scar was my c-section scar. So I started applying initially to the c-section scar as it was the most red & would see a difference there the quickest. It has calmed the redness which in turn makes the scar appear faded. There isn't much difference on the scars on my hands but I didn't expect much there as they are so old. The gel is very very easy to apply & dries in super quick, which is handy, esp when trying to get dressed after shower. As I was using it on a number of different scars, I have used up the little tube sent so I don't know what would happen to the scars if I could have used the gel for longer. I'm still happy with the results I've gotten, it's much better than the scar serums I've used previously.

Ive never heard of this product or knew it even existed but was delighted to give it a try on my husband who was in a car accident last year and has a number of scars on his arms. He starting using the Kelo-Cote on his biggest scar that was reddish looking with ridges on it. Initally no improvement but 2 weeks into it, he has said the reddness has faded to lightest pink & the ridges dont seems as angry looking as they were. One thing he pointed out was, it dosent dry within minutes, goes on perfect, a little goes a long way but it gets "sticky" if u have to pull down ur sleves over it. I think it would b perfect on the face or a place that does not have to b covered. Apart from that its a clear gel, no strong smell & l think worth continuing to c how far it will go to improve the appearance of his scars.
