While writing in her OK! column Kerry revealed, “I’m 43 this year and I want grandbabies. I can’t believe I don’t have a grandbaby yet!”.

“I said to my Molly, ‘My mum was 20 when she had me, and I was 20 when I had you, come on, pop one out, hurry up!’”.

Kerry is mum to 21-year-old Molly and 20-year-old Lilly whom she shares with ex-partner Brian McFadden.

Katona is also mum to 16-year-old Heidi and 15-year-old Max whom she shares with ex Mark Croft, and nine-year-old Dylan-Jorge who she had with George Kay.

Kerry went on to say that she and her fiancé Ryan Mahoney were “recently speaking to the Manchester Facility Clinic because we were looking at surrogacy options”.

When previously speaking out about her surrogacy journey, Kerry shared details of having her eggs frozen.

“I’ve started freezing my eggs. I wanted to make sure I had some available, as I’m 42 and I think the chances of getting pregnant go down to 20%”.

“I’ve been with Ryan for five years now and I haven’t got pregnant naturally. I don’t want to carry any more children because I nearly died when I gave birth to DJ”.

She added, “But I don’t want to rob Ryan of being a dad with me. It’s what we both want. So, we’re deciding to go down the route of surrogacy”.
