This week, Kerry Katona has opened up about her heartbreak over daughter Molly's upcoming move to Ireland.

In a recent tweet, she revealed that she burst into tears at the thought of her baby growing up.

Kerry's eldest daughter will be moving to Ireland to attend transition year. She is taking on the extra year of school to improve her grades as much as possible, in the hopes of pursuing a career as a surgeon.

Molly will be living here with her father, Brian McFadden's parents for the school term. Kerry previously told OK! how much she supported her daughter's decision and her dreams for the future: "We sat down and talked about it. I told her that if she didn’t do it, she could live to regret it. I don’t want her to live a life full of regrets."

But that hasn't stopped Kerry's emotions from getting to her as September approaches - and we are sure that most mums of teens will be able to relate to this.

Kerry is fiercely protective of, and close to all five of her children. She is also mum to Lilly-Sue, 14, from her marriage to Brian; Heidi, 10 and Maxwell, nine, from her second marriage to Mark Croft; and Dylan- Jorge, three, with current husband George Kay.

It has been an emotional time for the 36-year-old, recently. Earlier this week, she revealed in OK! how life coaching helped her get through her marriage split with George, back in 2015.

The two have been through a difficult time in recent years, but are back on track now thanks to her life coach, Emma Cross.

She also revealed that she had signed up for a life coaching course for later in the year, and that George had expressed interest in taking a class, too. She joked about the two of them becoming the next celeb counsellors - we don't know about you, but we think that would be super-entertaining!

We wish Molly all the best with her studies in Ireland!
