In 2018, it always remains a sad thing to see women passing judgement on other women for their life choices, but it still happens regardless. Motherhood is a particular topic that never fails to generate debate and discussion, and women can bear the brunt of backlash if, for example, they do or don't advocate breastfeeding. Or if they have reached a later life stage and have chosen not to have children. Or if they co-sleep with their babies.

It can be a minefield, and we remain of the firm belief that being a mum is such a personal experience that everyone will react differently to it and that there's no right or wrong reaction either way.

Some utterly embrace it, as Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has done, others find it more of a struggle as Kim Kardashian frequently said during her second pregnancy. She said she "hated being pregnant" and was subject to extremely harsh criticism as a result.

Her sister Khloe was accused of not thoroughly "enjoying" her pregnancy as she should by a blogger and she took the time to respond. Khloe, who is seven months pregnant with her first child, has previously said that it had taken her some time to get used to her changing body  - relatably adding that she had cellulite and stretch marks- as a mum-to-be but disagreed that this meant she wasn't enjoying the whole experience.

Then, a blogger known as Carmen ― who runs the site “A Side of Crunchy” ― took issue with the reality star’s remark, saying that more celebrities should “embrace pregnancy” and their cellulite.

The reality star then took the time - as she's had to do quite a few times before - to shoot down claims that she isn’t enjoying ― or embracing ― being pregnant:

While the online community can be a wonderful source of support for mums, we have to hand it to this Kardashian for just being open and honest about her highs and lows during pregnancy; no two women will experience it the same way after all.

Her baby is reportedly due in April.
