If you’re anything like us, then you simply can’t function without your morning coffee – it’s the perfect way to perk you up first thing and kick-start your day. And while you may be well used to the beverage’s strong taste by now, there was likely a time when you would scrunch your face up in disgust after just one sip.
Enter a group of children, who have volunteered to take part in a hilarious Buzzfeed experiment by letting a camera crew film them tasting coffee for the very first time in their young lives.
In the sequence below, each child is handed a mug of coffee and asked to give their verdict on both its smell and taste, and as you can imagine, things get pretty interesting.
The children have differing perspectives when it comes to the smell – while one little girl thinks it seems pleasant enough, another is reminded of broccoli!
However, it’s when they get to the taste test that their reactions get a little more dramatic – one boy is so horrified that he has to spit the coffee out, while another girl describes it as being “almost as bad as asparagus”.
