To celebrate Engineers Week, there are lots of family fun events planned across the country.
On 15th February, Lifetime Lab in Co. Cork have organised fun activities that focuses on different aspects of engineering. Children and adults will enjoy taking part in activities that include programming LEGO robots, Giant Jenga and Snap Circuits.
Galway's Atlantaquaria will be holding a special Engineering Day on 15th February where kids can get involved in designing and making a mini wind turbine, drawing and constructing a boat, and even launching a rocket.
The National Print Museum in Co. Dublin will be holding a Printfest on the 15th where families will be given the opportunity to see the ‘engineering’ behind the traditional craft of letterpress printing.
Admission is free to most events and there will be plenty of engineering activities to keep the whole family entertained.
