The I Love My City St. Patrick’s Day cultural programme is back again and brings with it a series of inspiring, intimate cultural events and happenings around Dublin. The activities and events are being hosted in some of the city’s prestigious cultural venues, spaces and architectural gems.
 
In total there are 16 events and happenings, featuring both established and emerging artists, from a variety of disciplines including literature, music, film, song, spoken word, photography, visual art and more.
 
Highlights form the pogramme include: 
 
The Dabledoo Music, a free event taking place on Saturday, 15th in the Little Museum on St. Stephen’s Green. It is a multimedia experience for young children, combining sound, illustration, performance and animation, encouraging creative music-making and group performance, in a new and exciting way
 
The Festival Céilí takes place this Friday from 4:30pm on St. Stephen’s Green North. The Festival Céilí is an outdoor celebration of traditional Irish dancing where the whole family can learn the steps, enjoy live traditional music and soak up the atmosphere on the streets of Dublin.
 
The traditional St. Patrick’s Day parade starts on Parnell Square at 12pm on Monday, 17th March. This year’s theme is 'Let’s Make History', will be animated by Ireland’s leading pageant companies,  their fantastical creations and thrilling performances inspired by the past will enthral and excite.
