Imaginosity, Ireland’s only interactive children’s museum for the under 9’s is dedicated to children’s success. It opened its doors at the end of August 2007 and since then the phones have been ringing off the hook, families have lined up before opening at weekends, schools groups and crèches and playgroups from all over the county have come, and come back again. Children learn best when they’re having fun. Imaginosity champions the ‘hands-on, minds-on’ philosophy that encourages all visitors to get involved and have fun while learning and create positive and lasting memories. At €8.50 for children and adults, €6.50 for toddlers, €2 for those over 6 months (under 6mths free) for a (minimum) 2 hour visit, it’s exceptional value, especially at this time of budget consciousness. They have increased their selection of quality art and craft workshops for children of all ages in their timetable of activities, so there is something for everyone when you visit Imaginosity.
