Jo Tinney Studio

Jo Tinney is one of Ireland's premier female artists. She was born and lives in the beautiful Fermanagh Lakeland, near Enniskillen. She studied first at Belfast College of Art for 3 years and then at Manchester University where she qualified as a teacher of Art and Design. She spent the following eight years teaching art before leaving to concentrate full time on her career as a painter. Her first solo exhibitions were held in The Studio at Ardhowen, Enniskillen and since then her work has been exhibited in the Bell Gallery Belfast. the Higgin Gallery Belfast, Sligo Art Gallery, the Kenny Gallery Galway, The Mall Gallery London, The Bank of Ireland Arts Centre Dublin, The Tom Caldwell Gallery Belfast and Gormleys Galleries in Dublin and Belfast. Her current work is always available to see and purchase in her Studio in the Buttermarket, Enniskillen. Her paintings in watercolour, pastel and acrylics can now be found in many parts of the world in the collections of people such as President Clinton, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, the Dublin Merrion Hotel and the University of Limerick to name just a few.
