Corlea Trackway Visitor Centre

This centre gives an account of when an Iron Age bog road was built in 148BC. The road crosses the bog lands of Longford and is close to the River Shannon. The road is made from oak and is the largest of its kind in all of Europe. There is an 18metre stretch of this road on display in the centre.
