About

Designed to bring awareness to our culture and nature, National Heritage Week is host to a number of free events all over the country. With the help of local communities, the Heritage Council had created a week of fun-filled, family-friendly events.

Here are some of the highlights of things happening all across Dublin:

Carrickgollogan Woods and Ballycorus Leadmines, Murphy’s Lane
Taking place on Sunday, 31st August, this walk will take up on the newly developed Dublin Mountains Way where you will get to see the old tunnels of the Leadmines and explore Carrickgollaghan.

Drop-in Family Drawing Sessions, National Gallery of Ireland
