She is currently pregnant with her second child, and anyone who followed her first pregnancy as closely as her most dedicated fans will know that there was a time when she wasn’t sure she could go through the journey again.

With her son due in the winter, Kim Kardashian has opened up about her current pregnancy journey and the complications that came from her pregnancy with daughter North.

The 34-year-old told Australia's Mother&Baby magazine: “This time around I know being a mum is the best, most rewarding, most fun job in the world, so I can’t wait to do it again and I’m just praying and hoping that I have an easier pregnancy.”

Recalling her experience with preeclampsia, the reality star added: “It was painful and tough. I would swell a lot and I had high blood pressure. It was also unexpected, so I wasn’t really prepared for all of the changes. I was so nervous to be a mum.”

The star eventually gave birth to daughter North at 35 weeks, after a blood test showed that she risked liver failure unless she delivered immediately.

We’re sure that many of you can relate to Kim’s tough experience.
