Losing a loved one when you are in the public eye invites in a lot of unwanted attention and scrutiny, and we can imagine that this latest story is one that the family of this late star did not want to become public.

According to reports, the children and widow of the late Robin Williams are now arguing over the actor’s bicycle collection.

Susan Schneider has been involved in a high-profile court battle with Zachary, Zelda and Cody Williams for the past year, with the parties contesting aspects of the star’s will.

While initial reports claimed that the Williams children were demanding the release of photos still in Susan’s possession, it has since emerged that they are also contesting a provision that entitles Susan to money from Williams’ estate. Schneider went to court over the latter issue, arguing that she has not been able to pay bills on the home she shared with Williams because his kids are refusing to release money he willed to her.

In the latest controversy, Page Six reports that the two parties are now arguing over Williams’ multi-million bicycle collection. The star, who passed away tragically last year, was an avid cyclist and took great pride in his collection of rare and vintage bikes.

Schneider’s attorney is reported to have appeared before a San Francisco judge on Friday, appealing for intervention as the family decide what to do with Williams’ belongings, including the bike collection.

The Williams’ lawyer hit out at the move however, insisting that there is no need for intervention, because Williams provided clear instructions about how his estate was to be divided up.

Further reports today state that Schneider and the Williams family are to meet next week to sort out the will, for once and for all.
