We all know the effort that goes into keeping our children on an even keel at certain points in the day, but while most of us manage to do it to some extent, it's fair to say pressure increases if you and your child happen to be on live television.

Dealing admirably with her son's excess energy and enthusiasm for exercise this morning, doting mum, Claire, reminded us all that sometimes a child's will is stronger than anything else.

Having laughed uproariously after catching a glimpse of himself on the set's monitor, four-year-old Harry eventually decided he had had enough of sitting with his mum while she discussed his need for a liver transplant on BBC Breakfast, and sought to blow off a little steam.

The adorable little boy, whose health issues were discussed during a segment on the popular morning show, decided that showcasing his athletic ability was a much more appealing option than quietly making his way off set.

Despite being encouraged to step behind the camera in order to conclude the interview with his mum, Harry took to his heels and completed numerous circuits of the set while hosts, Louise Minchin and Bill Turnbull, looked on in total bemusement.

Taking to Twitter following the little boy's appearance, BBC Breakfast paid tribute to his adorable nature, writing: "AND here's Harry going for a wander during our live interview. The 4 year old has brightened up everyone's morning!

He really has!
