As that hilarious video of little Mateo proved, cupcake theft is one of the most serious offences that can be levelled against a mischievous little one – it’s also a sure-fire way to turn them into a viral internet sensation!
This appears to be the case for the daughter of Macario Aegeus, a fun-loving father from Kansas.
Macario sensed that his three-year-old was up to mischief when he discovered that four cupcakes had been taken from the kitchen, and he assumed the role of a detective as he questioned her over the suspicious activity.
While you may have expected the adorable tot to deny any involvement however, she is as plucky as ever as she admits to taking all four of them – and then a high-speed chase ensues!
Uploading the footage to Facebook, Macario wrote: “Raw video footage of cupcake theft suspect. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Approach with caution.”
Although the video is now a few months old, it reached viral status this week after being shared by an online publication. So far, it has racked up over three million views – and we can see why people are so charmed by it!
